I'm Joslyn Davis in our Hollywood studios with a look at what color trend dominated this year's carpet -- this time around it was all about ladies in red! First up is TVD star Nina Dobrev who stole every eye on the carpet with her dazzling Donna Karan gown, with its form fitting silhouette and glamorous train. She finished off her look with gorgeous jewels courtesy of Neil Lane and Judith Leiber. Up next, one of the night's big winners, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland was stunning in a Christian Siriano creation, which most definitely was on trend with it's coralish, red color. The asymmetrical gown had a bit of added fun thanks to a beautifully embellished belt. Then this look was perfectly polished off with a bit of color on her lips to match her dress and her all-down and curled hairstyle puts Sarah's style at the top of our list. Last up is Glee star Lea Michele, who also went for a very bold red. Her Marchesa dress stands out for its short detailed sleeves and plunging back. Lea kept all of the attention on her gown, opting for a very simple and sleek hairstyle and extremely minimal accessories. "I didn't skip the Emmys because of that," the 30 Rockstar told reporters Sunday at singing legend Tony Bennett's 85th birthday gala in New York. "I skipped the Emmys because of this -- because I wanted to be here." As for removing himself from the opening sketch in which he played the president of television (recast with Leonard Nimoy) Baldwin confirmed it was because Fox, which broadcast the Emmys and is owned by Rupert Murdoch's News America corporation, cut out his joking reference to the phone hacking scandal involving the company. "In that routine, I made a joke about the News Corp. phone hacking scandal which the writers and producers had pre-approved before I made the trip. We shot the segment with the joke in. A couple of days later, I was informed that the producers had been told by some Fox entity that the joke had to be cut. I then asked that the entire piece be omitted, as I felt the joke was, perhaps, the funniest thing in it," Baldwin wrote on the Huffington Post. Baldwin went on to say, "However, in some sense, I understand News Corps.' reluctance to include that joke.
