I thought it would be appropriate to have my first full length Forza Motorsports 4 video be a remake of my first full length Forza 3 video. Instead of a Corvette Z06, I'm running the go-kart like Lotus 2-Eleven in a lightweight series at Madza Raceway Laguna Seca. Even though I cringe at watching my old video (so many mistakes and poor technique), it's a good reminder of what a difference 2 years of practice makes; not to mention correcting the ergonomics with my sim rig and properly tuning the pedals (especially the load cell - it was WAY off when I first started using it). I still have screw-ups here and there and should probably add some front brake bias to get the rear to rotate better, but for an untuned car what fun! And my 'bad habit' of switching braking feet; turns out that is a good way to add some trailbraking on sharp corners, but it took a long time to get the crossover worked out without changing braking pressure (which would really upset apex entry). Loving FM4: the driving is better (without being as complex as iRacing which I just don't have the time for right now). Wish the AI was a bit better - they really suck at cornering: slow and crazy-erratic brake stabs.
