The Belfield Brother's set a new record of 17 mins. 36 secs. for speed building the T20 Fergy at the 'All Wales Ploughing Competition' in Walton, Powys, on Saturday 20th Sept. 2008. The current world record is 17 mins. 11 secs. but this includes sealing gasket joints and filling up the gearbox with oil so the tractor is ready for work. Unfortunately my camera ran out of space on the memory card and the video was only 11 mins. long so you don't get to see the end.

This was a great gig as I hadn't played with Tim for a number of years for various reasons and it was so good to get back together again. I can't believe it is six years since we recorded the album. Broadstairs is undoubtedly my favourite festival and it just seems to get better every year. I have some wonderful memories of previous gigs in this venue with various bands and, indeed, in every venue in the town. If you have never been, I suggest you look up this site and plan your holiday for next year. Tim and Fergy play the "Ships are sailing" set in the Charles Dickens pub in Broadstairs at the wonderful Broadstairs Folk Week in August 2010. This was a great gig as it was a few years since I had played with Tim and six years since we recorded together. We have been friends for a long time and it was great to gig again. The crowd, as always in Broadstairs, were fantastic as you can see and, as it was my last official gig of the Festival, it was a great way to say goodbye for another year. Huge thanks to the staff of the Dickens for making us so welcome again and to all the lovely people who came to see us. Hopefully we will see you all again in 2011. Again, special thanks to Suzy for her sterling efforts with the camera.

This was one of the wonderful sessions held in the Old Crown bar in Broadstairs during Folk Week 2010. In this Fergy Campbell and Emma Scarr from the Northern Celts play an old Hamish Imlach song called "Black is the Colour". In the way of sessions, there is accompaniment from a couple of whistle players and some vocal harmony from people whose names I either never knew or have forgotten in the intervening period. If anyone knows the other players, please get in touch and I will be glad to credit them. It was a great afternoon.
