Fictional - "Blue lights" - Album Fictitious - Zoth OMMOG (guest vocals: Tim Fockenbrock / "Ravenous") Fictional is one of several side projects by Funker Vogt founder Gerrit Thomas. Because he is involved in so many projects, Fictional's activity is a bit sporadic at best, but the electronic music they've produced is as good as any. Here's a complete band biography, written by Joe Hunter of DeutschMusikLand.com: Gerrit Thomas, one of the masterminds behind Funker Vogt and Ravenous, formed Fictional in the late 1990's to create a hybrid between the two bands. The project forged high energy music similar to Funker Vogt with vocal styles of Ravenous to make a pounding, non-stop electro mix that is entirely contagious. Zoth Ommog released Fictional's first album, Fictitious, shortly thereafter. Comprised of ten explosive tracks, Fictional quickly became a dance floor favorite. With the exception of two tracks sung by Tim Fockenbrock (Ravenous), Blue Lights and Dream of God, Gerrit did all of the music and vocals for Fictitious. Intense synths and keyboard melodies are strung throughout the tracks with insatiable beats and poppy vocals. Blue Lights yielded to be the most popular track off of the album, and is still getting continued club play. Unfortunately, due to the demise of the Zoth Ommog label, Fictitious has become extremely rare and in high demand. Fictional was a song that me and two others guys wrote while trying to keep our band alive back in the day. Eventually the outcome was us splitting up, but this was the last song that came out of it. So here we go, in the picture we have me on the far left, I was the one who started work on the song, did a lot of the guitar work, and wrote the drums to it. My solo starts at 4:47 pretty much to the end lol. Then to the right of me is my brother Justin, I love the guy he helped up out so much playing drums before he had to move to NY. Even though he's not in this song he was a big help to the band and we all miss him. Then to the right of Justin is Ian Burke, the vocalist and guitar player. He put in a lot of time on this song to get the vocals just right, but we never got to finish. Ian also plays the first solo starting at 2:44 and is nasty. And last, but not least Jake Ouellette crouching down in the center of the picture. Jake is the bassist and has been playing music with me since I started guitar. He came in and busted out all the bass parts in a day. So that about sums it up, hope you guys liked the song I never planned on uploading it, but things have been rather slow. Local Hero is a 1983 Scottish film starring Peter Riegert, Denis Lawson, Peter Capaldi and Burt Lancaster. It was directed by Bill Forsyth and produced by David Puttnam. The film is set in the fictional fishing village of Ferness on the west coast of Scotland. A young representative of an American oil company is sent to the village on a mission. The film features a notable ensemble of character parts. The film's soundtrack, which outsold the film itself, was written by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, and is considered amongst his best work. This has led to the popularity of the film with fans of the band; Knopfler has since performed an arrangement of the main theme music ("Going Home") as an encore at many of his concerts. 'Local Hero' from the soundtrack is played as Newcastle United take to the field in their home games played at St James' Park.

Almost immediately, she comes up against Lorraine Dougan (Nancy Travis), the head of the local conservative values group and mother of Sara, a newly pregnant 15-year-old. Meanwhile, the school nurse (Camryn Manheim) tries to convince the school to provide contraception to students to address the pregnancy epidemic but is met with great opposition from the school and community. As the number of pregnant girls climbs to 18, a media firestorm erupts when Time Magazine reports that the rise in the number of pregnancies at the school is the result of a "pregnancy pact." As the mystery unfolds about whether or not "the pact" is real, Sidney soon realizes that all of the attention is disguising the much larger issues that are at the core of the story.
