Circuit bent mechanical furby sequencer - The Furby Gurdy!
(To hear the audio: change '360p' to '240p' in the lower RH side of the video display. I don't know why the sound no longer works properly right away). Each furby has 4 controls: mute, crash, loop and reset. The handle turns 8 cams which operate corresponding microswitches to create interesting rhythmic patterns. Part of the 'setting up' section at the beginning has been fast forwarded. Please commission me to make lots more of these machines!

One of a new batch of four Furby Gurdies. This model allows you to program your own rhythms by rearranging screws inserted into the four wheels. Furby commercial (15-second variant No. 1, 1998)
A series of very funny advertisements from 1998-1999 for Furbies. I especially like the Barbie-esque music and the Furbies making that weird "Uka, uka, uka, uka!" noise when they pop on near the girl. There was also a 30-second variant of the commercial, but I couldn't find it anywhere. BTW, one of the girls involved with this video was a young Melissa McIntyre!
