Tema del anarquista Chicho sanchez ferlosio Gallo rojo, gallo negro (Los dos gallos): Esta canción es para muchos nostálgicos del antifranquismo algo así como un himno de combate comparable sino ya a La Internacional comunista al himno libertario "A las barricadas". Y de hecho, para muchos universitarios españoles que andan rondando los cincuenta o sesenta, Chicho sería el cantautor contestatario por excelencia, y esta la canción generacional de una lucha que desembocó en la sustitución de la dictadura por la democracia representativa que ahora padecemos. De aquellos polvos, estos lodos... El título alude a una pelea de gallos, uno rojo y otro negro: "Se encontraron en la arena / los dos gallos frente a frente. / El gallo negro era grande / pero el rojo era valiente". El simbolismo es bastante elemental y no poco ingenuo: el gallo negro, grande y cobarde, representaría el fascismo, la dictadura oprobiosa, mientras que el gallo rojo, perqueño pero valiente, encarnaría la lucha antifranquista del rojerío. Al final habla el gallo rojo y le hace una advertencia al gallo negro: "Gallo negro, gallo negro, / gallo negro, te lo advierto: / no se rinde un gallo rojo / más que cuando está ya muerto".
