DIY GC8/2.5RS STi Replica Fog Light Cover Installation
Simple/cheap way to install GC8/2.5RS replica fog light covers. I've been constantly asked how I got my fog covers on on RS25 and Nasioc, and if they were replica or JDM covers(because you really can't tell the difference). Mine are replicas! And with my working on video skills, I'd like to share that joy with you now. This is a tour of my GC8, where it all began, and what it's become today. Trying to do a pull solo. 1998 Subaru GC8 Wagon with STI Hybrid Swap mild tune, full of gas and cargo and myself shifting while trying to steer and record as well. Car pulls very hard and could do better on a cooler day and with a lot more tuning etc. Shot on motorola droid x, sorry for bad quality and shakiness, holding camera with left while knee steering and shifting. 2.5L EJ257 short block 2.0L heads were resurfaced, hot tanked and had a full valve job done slight port and polish. GC8 RSTi Dyno Run
A quick video of my 3 Dyno Pulls Results were 269 and 293tq. Setup is stock EJ257 motor stock vf39 turbo ARC TMIC exhaust I'm really happy with the numbers. The motor is pretty strong. I had good comparisons and I did manage to beat most of the Lancer Evolution that were there! swap performed by East Coast Swappers aka ECS !!!

Swif Tune Drag Subaru Impreza WRX RA GC8 (Rusty) Jamwest 2011
The car is a Red 1995 Subaru Impreza WRX RA GC8 tuned and driven by myself (swiffy) with full stock engine internals, stock RA gearbox , with an ACT HD-SS clutch kit and ACT prolite flywheel. The car ran a best time of 13.01 seconds at only 94mph with a 60 foot time of 1.619 as we tried to keep within the 13second class. The run shown in the video was not timed so we never got to see how fast the car would have been if we ran all out, next time.
