This is a GGP mall and I was almost seen by IPC Security, but they were dealing with someone else. Notice the guy who sounds like the Tourette's Guy who calls me a terrorist for filming (typical New Yorker), but at least he wasn't a security guard.

4/1/2010-Reuters reported Thursday that General Growth Properties (NYSE:GGP) has filed a plan to exit bankruptcy independently and has laid out bidding procedures. The second-largest US mall owner set a two-round bidding process, with the first-round bids due as soon as April 19. The exit plan calls for Brookfield Asset Management (NYSE:BAM), Fairholme Capital Management and William Ackman's Pershing Square Capital to invest $6.55 billion to bankroll General Growth's exit. The bankrollers will get a majority interest between them in a reorganized entity and warrants to buy another 120 million shares. GGP valued the warrants at $519 million as of March 30.

This was just another retake, because the mall was EMPTY and I could get this thing to myself. This may be Westinghouse because of the access keyswitches on the door frame, they are definitely older EPCO. Also, I am happy to inform y'all that GGP no longer owns the mall (Howard Hughes Corp. now owns it), but the same IPC International security (same as Staten Island Mall, also GGP and is still owned by GGP to date) remains here.

These are pretty basic 1970s Westinghouse escalators. These were installed c. 1974 when the store opened as Lit Brothers, and they are original to this date. I only filmed a ride on the down escalator, and I used the iPod Touch to film this video since I did not want to be seen filming by employees, and the Sony TX10 could be spotted as a camera. Riding the internal elevator at Belk at Columbiana Centre Mall in Harbison, SC. (Northwest Columbia). This is my best retake of this elevator. The weird thing about this mall is that Columbia has annexed it to the city so it can get the monetary benefits from the mall. The mall is located in Lexington County, about 3 miles northeast of Lake Murray, on Harbison Blvd. (a huge shopping area) right off Interstate 26. The mall is owned by GGP, a bankrupt mall management company which actually tried to close this mall down. The interesting fact about this mall, which has a Latin American theme, is that the security there is Allied-Barton, which many of you think only exists in Simon malls.

so finally i got the rest of the mall we start things off with an elevator where a fellow YT user should have gotten the keys 3 years ago the elevator has a lot of changes for the better including better sounding motor and the door sencer sounds are gone (they were annoying to begin with) but still the only problem would be the slow leveling and lights starting to burn n out

Opened in 1975, the mall originally included four anchor stores and more than one hundred tenants, but lost three of those anchors (JCPenney, Belk and Rich's-Macy's) in the mid-2000s. In May 2009, the mall was completely closed as Sears and the rest of the stores in the mall closed. The mall was managed by General Growth Properties of Chicago, Illinois at the time of its closure. Century Plaza opened in 1975 on the eastern side of Birmingham, Alabama, on US Route 78 (Crestwood Blvd.) near Interstate 20, across from the existing Eastwood Mall. The mall's original anchor stores included Sears (which opened in 1974), Rich's, Loveman's of Alabama and JCPenney. Loveman's later was replaced by Pizitz, which in turn became McRae's in 1987. Rich's was dual-branded as Rich's-Macy's in 2003 when Macy's acquired the Rich's chain. The Rich's-Macy's store at Century Plaza, however, closed after only one year in operation.[2] A Piccadilly Cafeteria in the mall also closed that same year. Levi's worked with GGP to run an ad campaign promoting a new Levi's work jean available for purchase at Macy's. The ad's location space was the exterior glass window boxes affixed to the exterior of the south side of Water Tower Place, a AA property on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
