The GT2 RS is the fastest and most powerful road-going sports car ever built in the history of Porsche, just 500 examples went on sale in September 2010 and sold-out around the world within weeks. One lucky UK enthusiast however, will get the chance to drive this 620hp 911 model at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone as part of a competition launched online today (2 December 2010). The prize winner will be invited to the Porsche Experience Centre to take part in a Porsche Sport Driving School course. Here the winner will drive various models from the Porsche range, whilst being taught driving skills from our chief driving consultant. The finale of this course will be the opportunity to drive in the 911 GT2 RS. The closing date for entry to the competition is 31 January 2011 and one entrant will be selected at random from all the correct answers to win this ultimate experience. Hmmmmm, the one circuit where a fettled GT2 with a sequential would smash a high powered (yet windscreened !) caterham and Sabine manages to draw ! Walter Röhrl has managed 7.42 here in a 415ps GT3 and i can't see a stock CSR260 being any quicker than that .... Staged TV nonsense, but fun to watch nevertheless. And its laughable how if a woman can drive she suddenly becomes Emmanuelle Beart & makes all men weak at the knees.... look closely, objectively & ignore the opposite lock: definitely a 7-pinter !

Also we gave the footage to be used in "Gumball 3000: The Movie" and it was used as the climax race scene. The repercussions from this films popularity can be seen in "Vehicular Lunatics" and our new film "Team Tork and the Scumballers". PS. The helicopter at the end was not a police helicopter as feared but rather the Gumball film crew helicopter.

The future top GT model marking the absolute climax in the 911 range is the fastestand most powerful road-going sports car ever built in the history of Porsche, featuring 620hp. With power up by 90 hp and weight down by 70 kilograms or 154 lb in comparison with the 911 GT2, the new 911 GT2 RS has a power-to-weightratio of just 2.21 kilos or 4.9 lb per horsepower, by far the best power/weight ratio inits class. The 3.6 litre six-cylinder boxer engine boosted by two turbochargers with variable turbine geometry exclusive to Porsche in its combination with a gasoline engine drives the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. Developed especially for the 911 GT2 RS, sports tyres measuring 325/30 ZR 19 convert this massive power into equally massive performance and acceleration on the road: 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in just 9.8 seconds, and 0 to 300 km/h in 28.9 seconds.
