Flagship of Detroit plastic model What you need: Italeri AC-47 1:72 plastic kit (cca 15 euro), you can buy also other brand Chrome Spray (cca 8-12 euro) Special Modell glue/cement (cca 2-3 euro) Special Trasparent plastic cement for transparent parts (3-4 euro) thin brush (3-4 euro) various paints: flat black(for tyres), orange, gun metallizer(for engines), aluminium(for gears, and for engine), each cca 2-3 euro some duct tape(in every home :-) ) how to do: first some useful basic tipps: 1. keep the stickers and transparent parts intact while ur working, in a safe place, cause they are irreplacable if you mess it up with glue or paint, only open them at the end 2. for transparent part ALWAYS use special glue, with normal glue it will "bite" it, it will be whitish/ugly not transparent anymore 3. proceed with caution, take your time 4. I didn't follow the instructions 100%, because I sprayed the fuselage and wings seperately and put the windows after spraying 5. always leave the paint to properly dry, for few days so.. skip 1. step, the interior part, I think you won't see anything inside anyway, just waste of time 2. glue together the fuselage and the wings seperately(because of spaying), do not fix the windows yet, or the gears 3. glue the engines on the wings(paint and mask the motor) 4. spray it carefully, EVENLY with chrome, you can use a basic coating first(eg shiny black), when you spray, when it gets shiny, liquid looking, then stop, let it dry, do it in 20-25 ...
