The Asian superstar is very well known for her charity work. She recently held a photo exhibition which she titled, I, Tominaga. "The reason I held this exhibition was "Sakura movement" which I was doing on Twitter," the model said, "After the earthquake is the time when the Sakura movement blooms in Japan and I was really looking forward to it. And at the same time, I felt so down because I was seeing all the disastrous news. But the feeling for Sakura cheered me up." She started this movement to cheer up the victims of the earthquake. Ai Tominaga encouraged people to upload pictures of sakura, or cherry blossoms, to their Twitter page and tweet the hashtag #sakuramovement. She had the opportunity to put all the pictures she collected on to one giant picture of a cherry blossom tree and is now having a photo exhibition to showcase this giant picture some of her work, and some of the best photographers of Japan including Leslie Kee, Mina Ninagawa, and Tisch.
