Finally! Another sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet game for the Game Wave. This is a good but basic "match 3" style game, like Bejeweled or any number of other games that do the same thing. A screen full of shiny objects, swap a couple to try to match 3 or more in a line. Whoo! These games are good fun, but it's hard to imagine people would've bought a Game Wave for it. But I guess if you had a Game Wave, what the heck, right? The Game Wave's purpose in life was family-friendly multiplayer games, and Gemz is no different. The multiplayer mode supports up to 4 people, each trying to collect gems to gain the most points before time runs out. This is a fun mode, the only hard part might be convincing your friends to play some Game Wave with you. Nonetheless, Gemz is fine! Just not a system seller, but, I'm not sure the Game Wave really had a system seller. I wouldn't recommend that system, but I do respect that it had a clear purpose and succeeded in bringing it to market, even if it didn't really sell that well. Actually, I don't know how well they sold. But I'm assuming...not much. :) Seems like ZAPiT games might've been better off just releasing software for existing consoles or the PC, rather than try to launch a new piece of hardware in an incredibly competitive market. But why am I talking about the Game Wave console? This is about Gemz! And I don't have anything more to say about that! It's a game, you match stuff, get points, the end! :) YouTube suggested comments: + top + surf ...
