After a 6 hour flight from Paris due to strong headwinds, we did a 40 min turn around at Goosebay Canada on our way to Phoenix. It was 20 below and they tell us that was a warm day! This aircraft takes 28000 lbs of fuel, due to cold weather, it read 29000 lbs after fuelling was done. It also took us 15 min to climb from sea level to 40000 ft! fastest we've climbed to altitude ever, at one point we were doing 4000ft/min. No passengers with us on this fight, just 3 crew.
