HALF LIFE This is a music video to showcase the Valve game Portal. Despite the fact that the story in the lyrics of the song stray from what the game is really about, it does contain some spoilers. I left some of the most important content out (such as what happens if you don't die in the fire). This is to be the first of many videos I intend on making which will involve different genres of original music and will likely extend to other games in the future. I made this using Half-Life 2, Portals, Source SDK (Face Poser), and Garry's Mod. For the music I use FL Studio 8. I edited the skin to create the Aperture uniform on the citizen using Chell's texture. I am still new at making music, I will get better as I go. I hope you enjoy it. The Original Half Life 2 trailer JUNE 17th 2008 this is probably my oldest video from when I was like 12, man things have changed, but reading the comments here is my two cents Just to let you guys know, you guys the ones talking about how halo sucks; halo 3 sucked, it flat out sucked there is no go away from that. The only thing is I enjoyed Halo 2 as probably the best game to come out of 2006, is it better than Half Life 2? in some retrospects, yes; but playing with 3 other friends (That's Right! THREE COUNT 'EM THREE FRIENDS) and whooping all their asses, even with that, we all had fun. The only thing I didn't like about HL2 was that 1.) I was the only kid in the county who had it :p 2.) HL2:DM sucked in comparison to Halo 2's multiplayer. it was a more visceral and violent expierience, but HL2 will always have a better story. Just please stop the fighting :3

Our mistaken identity citizen discovers that the person he is paired up with at the end of Half-Life 2 Anxiety is in fact the person he is interpreted by many to be: Gordon Freeman himself, and is tormented by the events that take place so much that he eventually snaps out of his phase and is motivated by overhearing combine soldier chatter to make his way up to the mammoth citadel structure and face off with Dr. Breen himself in this twist of events to the Half-Life 2 storyline due to the main character's intrusion and a machinima homage to the films of the late, great director Alfred Hitchcock.

HALF LIFE This is my second video for Machinima.com that features original music created, written and preformed by me. Visually, it may be my best yet. I will let you decide. This one is more of a rap style song, but it is meant to be funny. I did this for the fun and challenge of trying to make Kleiner and Eli look like gangsters. I edited the skins myself. I chose orange and black as their colors to try to match the HEV suit Gordon Freeman wears. I am not going to make the skins available for now, as I may make a sequel to this in the future if you all enjoy it. Their hideout is the cs_militia map in Counter-Strike and there is one map from HL2 Deathmatch, other then that it was all shot in the original Half-Life 2 maps using Garry's Mod. I do the lip sync in Source SDK Face Poser. Special thanks to everyone who uploads content to garrysmod.org, where I find most of my custom tools, maps and models. HALF LIFE by Ray Koefoed. It has been 3 weeks since my last music video. I spent a week on the heavy metal Ravenholm video I had planned, but it wasn't turning out as I wanted so I abandoned that song and video and started this one. I made the music, wrote the lyrics, preformed the vocals and created the video in 2 weeks. Understand that this is the first time I have made a serious attempt to sing without completely masking it with filters as I did with the chorus of Taste the Cake. I know I have much to learn about singing and engineering the vocal tracks. I did mean for it to have a slightly over processed sound to the vocals for the purpose of the song's atmosphere, but it is also to shroud some of the sound quality issues I get from using a bathroom closet as a recording studio. To make things even more challenging, most of my hardware (including my PC) is nearly a decade old. I hope it doesn't distract from the intended inspiration I tried for on this one. As I get more experience at creating music, I imagine I will eventually settle into somewhat of a style somewhere between Taste the Cake and this one. I plan on trying a few different things first though. Much of the footage in this are typical HL2 scenes that people have seen tons of times, and some of the scenes are similar to some of my past videos.
