HTC Flyer Tablet Review

A video review of the HTC Flyer 7" Android tablet with WiFi. Check out our full review at: www.mobiletechreview.com The Flyer sells for $299 at Best Buy (price drop) and it runs Android OS 2.3.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense software. HTC went with Gingerbread instead of the tablet-centric Honeycomb so they could heavily customize the tablet with HTC Sense widgets, apps and social networking integration. They also added support for an active digitizer pen in addition to capacitive multi-touch, for you note-takers and artists. The pen is sold separately for a steep $79.99.

HTC Jetstream Unboxing

HTC Jetstream Unboxing TechnoBuffalo unboxes AT&T's first 4G LTE capable tablet, the premium priced HTC Jetstream. The Jetstream's price is a tough pill to swallow at $699.99 with a two-year contract; equally as hard on the wallet is its $850 price tag without contract. That's not to say, however, that this tablet doesn't come packed with some fantastic features: 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, 10.1-inch display, 32GB of internal storage, Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) with HTC Sense 1.0 overlaid, 8-megapixel camera and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. The materials of the Jetstream is of the utmost quality. The 10.1-inch screen is very nice on the eyes and includes a very subtle but welcome lip on each side of the device when you hold it horizontally. But do the more than capable internals, 4G LTE on AT&T and premium build quality justify the high price? Are you excited for the HTC Jetstream? Review: HTC Jetstream 4G LTE Tablet

lukedimarco.com - This is my full review of the HTC Jetstream tablet on the Rogers 4G network. I would like to say that I TOTALLY forgot to mention what I thought of Rogers 4G network in the actual video so here it goes For those who don't know I actually received two different tablet units. The second time they sent me one with the pen so I could also review it. The first tablet had a hard time connecting to the 4G network. I could only get service near windows and outside (and I live literally 5 minutes from Rogers corporate HQ.) The second device I received was flawless and connected no problem. I got full bars of 4G service practically everywhere I tested it. Even hours outside of Toronto. The 4G network is LIGHTNING fast. HD YouTube & Netflix videos loaded in just mere seconds. Really impressed with the speeds and network. First device might have had a bad network card. Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com Fan me on Facebook: facebook.com

7" Tablets Smackdown: Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and HTC Flyer

A smackdown comparison of four 7" Android tablets: the Amazon Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and the HTC Flyer. Check out our full comparison details at: www.mobiletechreview.com The Fire and Nook are eBook readers with tablet and multimedia features, while the Samsung and HTC are tablets first and foremost. All run Android OS. You'll notice that as the price goes up you get more features, particularly in those marketed as tablets first: HDMI via adapter, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G options. But you might not want or need those features. Watch our video to decide which is best for you. HTC Jetstream Review

HTC Jetstream Review In a fiercely competitive tablet market, price is one of the biggest factors consumers consider. Case in point: Kindle Fire. Following the device's announcement back in September, Amazon's newest Kindle member, priced at $199, has seen record pre-order numbers pile up, and it still hasn't been released. Granted, it does have Amazon's ecosystem behind it, but the $199 consumer-friendly price is a huge draw. So how does a company offering an Android tablet, similar to other Android tablets, stand out? For the 4G LTE enabled HTC Jetstream, the price is its biggest headline, but for all the wrong reasons. At its cheapest, the HTC Jetstream is offered at $699 with a two year contract and $849 without -- no, that is not a typo. That alone is enough to turn away consumers, and it's unfortunate because the wonderful build quality, HTC Sense UI and Scribe technology make it a solid device, albeit one that many probably won't get to experience because of its premium price. It's worth noting, too, that we did notice a slight lag during daily operation, even though the device is packing a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. With an LTE enabled Galaxy Tab 10.1 available at a much friendlier price, the Jetstream is a hard device to recommend. In any case, check out the video for the full review. tchno.be For more tech goodness, check us out at: www.technobuffalo.com Follow Us on Twitter www.twitter.com Like Us on Facebook: www.facebook.com Check Us Out on Google + tchno.be

HTC Flyer running Android 3.2 Honeycomb video review

TAIWANESE GADGET MAKER HTC has updated the Flyer tablet to Android 3.2 Honeycomb so we take a look at what's changed. The device has been bumped up from Android 2.3 Gingerbread to the tablet specific edition. This means the hardware buttons are no longer in use, apart from the dedicated stylus button. Naturally the user interface looks different and the stylus functionality has been enhanced, so HTC must have read our review of the Flyer. There's no word on an upgrade to version Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but our fingers are crossed. µ Source: The Inquirer (s.tt

HTC Flyer 7-inch tablet Hands-On from MWC 2011

www.tweaktown.com Today HTC announced its first tablet at MWC called "Flyer". It is a 7-inch tablet with a 1024 x 600 display running Android and maybe most notably with HTC Sense for Tablets. Many will know HTC Sense on HTC's range of mobile phones, a kind of overlay on the OS which includes a range of easy to use widgets and such. HTC Sense for Tablets is much of the same thing, but has been optimized for the larger screen. Next up is HTC Scribe Technology which implemented a "scribble" feature which allows the user to jot down notes or mark certain sections in books or even on Facebook and other applications that they want to remember or to easily show to a friend. Using the included multi-function pen, you can select different pen thicknesses and colors and just start writing in many different areas. If you want to make changes, you can adjust the pen setting and use it as an eraser. From the looks of things, you use the pen to tap in a certain area of the screen and it quickly snaps a screenshot and launches the "Scribble" application. Basically, it seems like you are editing a saved screenshot image in a very simple graphics editor. Then if you like you can share the Scribble image using a range of different methods. Sketching on sketchbook pro for android. Using the HTC EVO view tablet by sprint and the htc scribe pen. Pen has ntrig technology giving the ability to have full pressure sensitivity on sketchbook pro. So far the htc evo view is a fantastic, 7 inch tablet that works very well for sketches on the go. I am using the glove to avoid stray lines when working with sketchbook pro. Sketchbook does not have palm rejection as I use the zoom in and out feature a lot drawing in a tiny screen. So I cut the fingers off a cotton glove to be able to rest my palm and still use my fingers when I need it. If you have any questions just ask. The htc evo view is very much like the htc flyer but branded by sprint and has the ability of 4G.
