HTV Grapple and Berthing (Docked with Space Station)
The unpiloted Japanese H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) arrived at the International Space Station Thursday and was attached at 6:26 pm EDT using the stations robotic arm. Flight Engineers Nicole Stott, Robert Thirsk and Frank De Winne used the stations robotic arm to grab the cargo craft and attach it to the Earth-facing port of the Harmony node.

Read Full article @ defense-update.com The second and final flight test of DARPA's Hypersonic Test Vehicle 2 (HTV-2) is expected to take place today over the Pacific Ocean. The wedge shaped unmanned hypersonic test vehicle is scheduled for launch by a Minotaur IV rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base on the pacific coast, between 7 AM and 1 PM PDT. The flight is expected to take about 20 minutes.

DARPA's August 11, 2011, second flight of the HTV-2 hypersonic glider - which ended prematurely after only 9min of a planned 30min flight across the Pacific - was captured on handheld video camera by a crewmember of one of the ships tracking the vehicle's telemetry as it re-entered the Earth's atmosphere at 20 times the speed of sound. DARPA does not yet know while the flight ended prematurely. The first HTV-2 flight, on April 22, 2010, also ended after just 9 min.

The Expedition 20 crew opened the hatches to the newly arrived Japanese H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) Friday at 2:23 pm EDT. The crew entered the pressurized section of the HTV to begin cargo transfers to the station.
