SAP Co-CEO Jim Hagemann-Snabe Reacts to the Passing of Steve Jobs

SAP's Co-CEO Jim Hagemann-Snabe comments on the untimely death of Apple's former CEO & tech icon, Steve Jobs. "First of all, he is one of the rare people who has extremely strong leadership because he is a unique combination of pushing limits, challenging assumptions and he is in many ways, a perfectionist, who only wants to do the absolute best. And that has been driving his leadership and we've seen what that has done to his innovations. So for me, he's a guru that has helped me understand what you can do with leadership and I think he's inspired many, many people in our industry and in other industries. It's a sad day today in many aspects. On a personal level I was touched. But I also think it's a sad day in the industry. We have lost one of the most innovative and visionary people in the industry. A person who has shown what you can do with innovation. Not just to change your company. Not just to change an industry. But to change the World and how we use technology. So there's no doubt that with the impact that he's had in the World that he's one of those who we will remember in generations to come because he changed how we live. My hope is that he will be an inspirational source for young people who have seen what innovation can do. Who are willing to take up and innovate stronger and go after the impossible innovations and get it done. So I hope we get many many opportunities to accelerate because of him and I think that would be the best way that we could honor him ...
