How To Make a Halloween Cocktail
hilahcooking.com It's almost Halloween, and Hilah has created a bloody disgusting Halloween cocktail that is perfect for the occasion. As long as you've got a strong stomach! INGREDIENTS * 4 ounces white rum * 2 ounces pomegranate liqueur (or other red boozy stuff) * 1 ounce lime juice * Ginger ale * 2 teaspoons pomegranate molasses (leave this out if you can't find it. It might be hard. I'm sorry. Or you could substitute strawberry jam!) * Fresh, grated ginger Put a teaspoon of pomegranate molasses (or jam! I truly am brilliant!) in the bottom of your glasses. Shake the rum, liqueur and lime juice together with ice. Pour carefully over the molasses (or jam!) so as not to stir up your blood clot too much. Top it off with as much ginger ale as you like, or will fit. Grate some ginger over the top. Garnish with a band-aid or tampon. JUST KIDDING.

The Spiced Caramel Apple (Created by Kara Newman, author of Spice & Ice, as reviewed on Behind the Burner) 2oz Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur 1oz Van Gogh Dutch Caramel Vodka 2 1/2 oz Apple Cider 1 dash lemon juice Rim your martini glass with agave syrup and crumbled gingersnap cookies. Add liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into martini glass. Skulled Holiday Cider 1 1/2 oz Crystal Head Vodka 1/2 oz. vanilla liqueur 1 oz. apple cider dash of angostura bitters Top with Ginger Ale Add all ingredients to a highball glass filled with ice in the order given. Give a quick stir and add the garnish. Garnish: an apple slice on the rim or inside of the glass From the Stone Rose Lounge: Sparkling Venom 1 1/2oz spiced rum 1 1/2oz apple cider Simple syrup Ground cinnamon 1oz champagne In shaker, combine spiced rum, apple cider, small splash simple syrup and a pinch of cinnamon. Add ice and shake. Strain in to champagne glass and top with champagne.

Ingredients 3 oz. Chilled Pinnacle "Whipped" Vodka or Vanilla Vodka Strawberry Sundae syrup Plastic vampire teeth as a garnish Preparation Rim a martini glass with the strawberry syrup. Drizzle some on the inside of the glass so it drips. Pour vodka into a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into prepared martini glass. Add teeth on the side of the glass as a garnish. Tips: For best results, prepare your glasses ahead of time and freeze them with the sugar and syrup on them. Remove from freezer just before serving. Add to your shaker that is half filled with ice, 2 oz bloody mary mix, 1/2 oz of feshly squeezed lemon juice, dash of Worcestershire sauce, dash of your favorite hot sauce, dash of celery salt.
