Regardless of what "briancdn" believes, I stand by my cover version of this song with respect to its accuracy and correctness. There are 3 minor differences between the original version and mine and I'd be happy to share them with anyone who is interested. 5/16 - Someone was interested so I'll post those differences here - 1. At 00:42 he plays 4 quick notes on the open E string. I play the 4 notes using triplets and the octave. I'm just able to play it cleaner and with more consistency that way. 2. At 4:39 he may be playing the part an octave lower. The bass is pretty low in the mix at that point and the guitar is very prominent and I made a judgement call. 3. At 5:50, the transition riff is wrong. The part is played 3 times in the song. The first two times are the same and this one (the third) should have been a slightly different variation of the riff but I blew that one. Since I started posting cover videos I've strived to play the songs as closely to how they were recorded and with as much attention to detail as possible. At the risk of sounding immodest, it's one of the few things that I can honestly say I do pretty well and I am not going to start cutting corners at this point. But, for some reason, brian is quite upset and believes that I am up to some sort of chicanery. This began after I left a comment on brian's cover, telling him that I thought he did a great job figuring out this difficult song. His response was eight comments long and contained all the things ...
