Let's All Make A Bomb

MAD fight song from Heaven 17. Shot at a live performance in Sheffield, UK in 2000. This was one of a small handfull of UK live gigs ever produced as part of an 80's retro tour. The shows were successfull but never rec'd support for US tour.

Heaven 17: Trouble

It was a slight shambles in the Italian studio during the first ever World Music Video Awards Show which was linked by satellite all around the world. The Italian presenters announced the English synthpop band (from Sheffield): Heaven 17, performing live in Paris and then talked over the beginning of their hit song: Trouble, and again at the end. However, I have it on good authority from those in the gallery, that anyone who was there, had the time of their life that day. This first ever "World Music Video Awards" was organised by the embryonic Sky Channel in January 1987. The countdown clock says 1986, but the techie hadn't got used to the new year yet. Award winners got a framed hologram and I have one of these on the wall (no, I didnt win it!)

HEAVEN 17 - Contenders

Heaven 17 first live performance captured on The Tube in 1986. A fantastic funky track and perhaps one of the the finest songs they ever made! Introduced by the late Paula Yates. Originating from Sheffield, Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware formed Heaven 17 with vocalists Glenn Gregory after they split from The Human League in 1980. Supporting vocals from Carol Kenyon.
