Follow me @Atwal1994 twitter.com EDMONTON -- Edmonton Oilers Ales Hemsky became the latest unfortunate soul to get "Kronwalled" — Hemsky was laid out by Detroit's Niklas Kronwall in the first period Saturday night, leaving the Oilers forward bloodied. The play actually resulted in a four-minute power play for Detroit, as Corey Potter jumped Kronwall with Hemsky struggling to get to his feet after the huge hit. On the play, Hemsky tried to carry the puck out of the Oilers' zone up the boards, and Kronwall executed his trademark sneaky acceleration move to perfection. Kronwall stepped up on Hemsky and leveled him with a shoulder to the chest. Hemsky went to the locker room for treatment following the hit, though he did return to the game later. The Wings could not capitalize on the four-minute power play, despite half of that time turning into a 5-on-3 because of a boarding call against Edmonton's Ladislav Smid.
