Police say a security blueprint will be ready in a week. The police department of Noida city of north India's Uttar Pradesh state was requisitioned for 1600 personnel for the upcoming Indian Grand Prix of the international Formula One calendar. Jyoti Narayan, Senior Superintendent of Noida Police, said that the police were in touch with Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the organizers of the race, over the security requirements for the race. During the Formula One 2011 season RTL GP asked to formula one drivers what their ultimate corners are. At the end of the season RTL GP asked Herman Tilke to design a track with these corners, the "Ultimate Driver Circuit". The track he designed has no start / finish, the Suzuka 130R is in the wrong direction and he needed to use extra non existing corners to finish the track. I took a good look at the tracks and corners from the "Ultimate Driver Circuit" and designed a new one, only using corners from the original tracks. At some points I also used the next corner from the same track, otherwise it was not possible for me to fit all the corners together in one track. All parts from all tracks are in the original direction. I have taken the start / finish from Spa Francorchamps. You can see not only the track itself but also the surrounding countryside. Google Maps does the same job. Here's a quick look at a few ... Albert Park - surrounded by parklands, close to both the city and the bay. Sepang - right across the road from KL airport nestled in palm tree plantations. This circuit is typical Hermann Tilke from above don't you think? Monaco - looks great! This is one circuit where it's cool to zoom in on things and checkout the rest of the harbour and coastline. Indy - No longer on the calendar but a great track from the air. Canada - Site for some events in the 1976 Olympics and you can see the rowing course there as well. Great layout. Silverstone - Another classic! How can you go wrong with a WW2 bomber base with 3 airstrips in classic WW2 triangle format?? Spa - Hmmm Spa is great from any angle. Love that Ardennes Forest. The Valencia Street Circuit is a semi-permanent race circuit in Valencia, Spain which hosts the Formula One Grand Prix of Europe Telefónica.[1] The circuit utilizes the roads around the port city's port area, and also includes some roads designed exclusively for racing purposes by the German architect Hermann Tilke who also designed the infrastructural buildings for the circuit. The deal to host the Valencia race was signed on June 01, 2007 and is for seven years.[2] The deal was been made between Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone and the Valmor Sport group, which is led by former motorcycle rider Jorge Martinez Aspar and Villarreal football club's president Fernando Roig. A flying lap of Buddh International Circuit The race will be held at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, 24 km from Delhi. The circuit will be roughly 5.14 kilometres (3.19 mi) and will be designed by F1 circuit designer Hermann Tilke. The track will be spread in an area of 875 acres. The initial seating capacity is speculated to be around 150000. However there are plans to increase the seating capacity to 200000 later on. The sprawling circuit will be a part of Jaypee Green Sports city and will also be used for hosting one or more rounds of Moto GP championships in the year 2012. The 10-year contract for the race has been given to the Indian construction company Jaiprakash Associates. The track 5.5 kms in length, in all has 16 largely medium speed corners where F1 cars will lap at an average speed of 210 km/h. www.yasisland.ae The Yas Marina Circuit has been announced as the venue for a Formula One race in 2009, the event to be named the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It will be a newly-built circuit designed by Hermann Tilke,on Yas Island, about 30 minutes from the country's capital Abu Dhabi. Yas Marina will be the second Formula One track in the Middle East, with the first being in Bahrain. A GP2 test race will officially open the circuit, which will be held the week before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.It will also host the opening event for the Australian V8 Supercars series in February 18-20 2010.

The circuit and its facilities were designed by the well-known racetrack architect Hermann Tilke, who said he designed the track to try to catch the drivers out. The inaugural Turkish Grand Prix certainly caught the drivers out, with many drivers spinning off throughout the weekend. Turn 8 (nicknamed "Diabolica" by some in reference to Monza's Curva Parabolica) particularly caught the imagination.
