I did a clip reel thingy of the projects I voiced for when I first began voice acting (2 years ago as of this post) and looking back, I realized how much I improved since then, so I decided to slap together another one! And boy, I was in a bunch of things with even more cool projects on the horizon! I'm currently working on a character demo that'll even better represent my range, so keep your eyes open for that! ...So at 4 AM, after 2 hours of tossing and turning, I thought: "Could I make a demo using everything I already recorded for finished projects, auditions, and practice?" 3 hours later, this was made. Is this a fitting representation of my acting/vocal range and my strengths? I can't be the judge of that. Alright mixing? Hell no. I hate my mixing. Will this be my "official" demo to show to potential employers? Are you kidding me? Overall, it's SOMETHING so I can finally stop stressing out (and losing even more sleep--Before you ask, no, I didn't sleep). You bet that I'm gonna keep working on a more presentable demo. **NO COMMENTARY** This was actually done on purpose as I did not want to take away from this game. It is short...the entire game lasting under 20 minutes. It is simple...the puzzles are simple enough that even the most inexperienced player could solve them. It is art...this is a game I think will touch many of you, and resonate deeply. I've often held an argument that video games are forms of art. They can make emotional connections with us, allow us to think about things differently, and even change our perspectives on world views. I would say this game, in only 20 minutes, will make many of you have that emotional connection that other games spend hours trying to scratch at. At least a thousand CSUN students protest against the rising budget cuts on public education through peaceful assembly. While we felt strongly enough to storm halls, buildings, and streets, we still knew that it was going to be done as peacefully as possible--We weren't trying to make an enemy of the administration. Overall, all this is to gain the attention of those who run our country to our plight and remind them that THIS IS A VOTING YEAR AND WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR THOSE WHO WON'T DO SOMETHING. [EDIT] Ultimately, the primary success about this protest is raising awareness to be a bit more politically active at the very least. People online sure are responding to these videos when the footage is no longer on TV, for instance. It's kinda sad when people don't think their voices matter in a democratic-republic. DOWNLOAD: www.newgrounds.com "Jabberwocky" - Written by Lewis Carroll from "Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There" (1872) It's one of my favorite poems evar~ 14-ish voices, but if you listen carefully enough, a lot of them are just "base voices" + little things like texture, different placement, (attempted) dialect, and so on thrown on. Not sure if I did too much with pacing and I have a decent feeling that these are "more voice than acting". o_o; I believe 2-ish of these voices are in the "I can DO the voice, but can't do longer than half an hour without it hurting". If for some WEIRD reason you want to cast me based on those voices, well... Ask me first so I don't end up thrashing my chords forever. That said, most of these are "voices I can do, but never get cast as" too.
