I can't say I'm happy about it. The more I look back, the sadder I get. He was one tough, smart hog! He evaded me many times, made a fool outa me some. I shot him 3 times before this, once on the body, in the head and in the neck. This time I give him another body shot. But that STILL DOESN'T do it! There are branches in the way of shooting these feral hogs so we watch them for about 6 minutes before shooting. I drop one with a head shot, Chase's rifle miss fires, I shoot a second one on the run and drop her, then we both shoot again and miss. We had our Destroyer Hog Lights ready but these wild pigs came in while it was still fairly light. We took a bit getting down there so it was dark by then. Check out the Hog Hunting Action Y'all! Well Y'all Me and HogChaser85, Chase, hunted from that tower all night, we saw alot of hogs but they were gone before we turned the camers on. We wanted to get them on camera so we could show Y'all how well the Destroyer by Sniper Hog Lights works. But Alas. all the damn hogs wanted to run dureing the day!!! Imagine that! We thought the dog food was scareing the hogs, so we went to another feeder and blind early the next morning expecting a Big Boar to come out. Instead we get a bunch of pocket pigs. We waited until they were almost off camera and then when no Sows or Boars came out, I tried to take a double. Never found blood on a second. The one we recover turned out to be shot a bit back further than I planned so no blood. But still, we had a great first hunt and harvested a nice BBQ Boar. Enjoy Y'all!!!
