Homespun is the brand of yarn I use for my wigs. Not many people use yarn to make wigs anymore, and the old tutorials you can find on them are for rug yarn. The brand that was once commonly used, now seems fairly impossible to find. Homespun comes in a very wide variety of colours and, if you use it this way, can go by fairly quickly. I don't claim it to be the best way to make a wig, but homespun is pretty commonly available, so if you want to try to make your own wig it's the fairly easy way to go. =)
