By Sue Lloyd-Roberts of BBC: "You'll never get there," Syrians living outside the country said to me when I told them I was on my way to the city of Homs. "It's circled by tanks on the outside and there's an army checkpoint on every street corner inside the city." Homs was one of the first cities to join the Syrian anti-government uprising Since then it has been besieged by President Bashar al-Assad's armed forces and seen almost daily attacks. Bab Aldreb Homs, 11-27-11 - Loyalist forces of Longtime Dictator Bashar Assad set up sniper posts on a School rooftops in Bab Aldreb from where they are firing upon the peaceful unarmed townspeople. The alawite baathist Dictator Assad has declared war on whole sections of the nation and has unleashed his army and attacked and destroyed and occupied towns and cities as though they were "enemy territory". This video clip is one of thousands showing how the Regime stays in power and enforces its will upon 23 million Syrians, who overwhelmingly hate and despise the Assad military dictatorship. If the Assad Regime was forced by the UN or the Arab League to pull its Armies and Shabiha and Secret Police out of our Cities then the very next day there would be 20 Million People out in the street calling for the overthrow of the Assad government - Everyone knows this - especially the Baath Party and the Dictator Assad - which is why Assad cannot afford to stop killing us, even for one day. أوغاريت حمص هااام , حي باب الدريب قناصة على سطح مدرسة يطلقون النار ------------------------------- 11-26-11 Syria news update from the Local Coordination Committees in Syria: 30 martyrs fell today, shot dead by security forces and the army of regime, including 5 children, 22-martyrs in Homs, 3 martyrs in Hama, 2 martyrs in Deir Al-Zour, and a martyr each Damascus Suburbs (Knaker) and Idleb Daraa: Inkhel: Heavy flight is associated with full alert for the army present in town Alsnmin: heavy fire ...
