January 20th 2012. Etta James, whose assertive, earthy voice lit up such hits as "The Wallflower," "Something's Got a Hold on Me" and the wedding favorite "At Last," died today. She died from complications from leukemia with her husband, Artis Mills, and her sons by her side. Etta James was 73. May her soul rest in Peace.

Etta James was absolutely amazing. I have a hard time imagining a world without her. I chose to not have her image in this video because she fought a tough battle against leukemia, and I prefer to remember her healthy and changing the world with her voice.
