The members of the group have played together since January, 2004, but they were previously devoted to the same kind of music either by family origin (Ivana Tasic) or in their individual or group work. Their interpretation of traditional songs is formed with the help of experience in collecting of field musical recordings both in original town environments and in remote and inaccessible mountain areas, as well as with adopting of traditional knowledge directly from the masters of instruments in Macedonia and Greece, and by using original traditional instruments together with preserving the specific Balkan musical scales. Beside performing, the people who make up the group also search for and collect field musical recordings both in original town environments and in remote and inaccessible mountain areas of the above mentioned parts of the country.
