Here is the video for Anna Calvi's debut single, "Jezebel", released on 11th October. Beautifully shot by Emma Nathan, the video was recorded and filmed live at the Luminaire in London and features Anna Calvi (vocals/ guitar) performing with her band Mally Harpaz (harmonium/ percussion) and Daniel Maiden-Wood (drums). Her intense performance is full of passion and startling beauty. Juke Joint Jezebel is a KMFDM single from the 1995 album Nihil. The title track is arguably KMFDM's most recognisable song to date. Two versions of this single were released: Juke Joint Jezebel - The Giorgio Moroder Mixes, and an earlier release, Juke Joint Jezebel which only contained the tracks "Juke Joint Jezebel" and "Kraut". The song was also used in the 1995 smash movie Bad Boys, where Martin Lawrence and Will Smith's characters go into "Club Hell" in Miami, it can be heard playing inside the club. Jezebel Ahab Baal
In the Bible, Jezebel was a powerful, wicked queen, and wife of a passive king called Ahab. She was a false prophetess who worshiped the false god, Baal. Baal was the god of prosperity, god of the harvests, god of fertility and sex. (Does this sound like some of the modern day gospels that some people preach?) Jezebel was a witch, and her spirit of witchcraft is still in operation today in the church, and in the world. It will take both a Jehu and the cooperation of the injured victims (spiritual eunuchs) to kill her again. Elijah predicted that Ahab and all his heirs would be destroyed and that dogs in Jezreel would devour Jezebel. A few years later, Ahab perished in battle with the Syrians. Jezebel lived on for approximately another ten years with her son Jehoram as ruler. The prophet Elisha had a military commander named Jehu annoited to be king of Israel, an act that provoked civil war. Jehu killed Jehoram and then went to Jezebel's palace. Expecting him, she adorned herself for the occasion. Looking down from her window, she taunted him, and Jehu ordered her eunuchs to throw her out the window. Later, when he commanded that she be properly buried as a king's daughter, it was discovered that dogs had eaten most of her body. Shalom

The story is about this young man addicted to the beauty of Jezebel this girl stripping near Moulin Rouge. Other men see only the sex temptation of Jezebel when this young man sees her beauty and falls in love with her.
