Johan Gray was riding along a canal on his dual-sport bike and spotted a calf struggling in a steep-walled canal. Gray then MacGyvers his way down into the canal using his bike's frame as an anchor, and rescues the calf. He then gives the calf a ride back to its herd. The calf rescue was capture by Gray's helmet-cam. The best thing about this video is that the uploader did not feel compelled to add an annoying soundtrack or anything beyond simple subtitles. Johan Gray was riding in the Amageza 2012 rally qualifier, but took time out to help a hoofed stranger in need. Check out the calf-rescue video below... you'll go, "aaawww". The video is destined for viral fame.

This incident was taken during the Amageza Run Qualifier (www.amageza.com) on 23 Oct 2011 west of Brits (North of Pretoria) in South Africa. I was on a BMW F800GS, and recording the event (Drift HD170 Stealth Helmet Cam) as participant when I got to this point. The actual event video clip has also published on YouTube. The video was published on YouTube in order to publish as part of ride report on the Wilddog (www.wilddog.za.net) Forum. I am amazed by the amount of goodwill and need for acts of humanity that exist. I am blessed to have made a difference in some peoples lives to see a different and very real world that exists and can exist.

After attending the BMW Motorcycle Club of Pretoria Year End Function over the weekend of 28/29/30 Oct 2011, Zanda and I traveled home through the Golden Gate Highland National Park. Both of us on BMW F800GS. It was a nice relaxing ride through one of the most beautiful areas in the country. Had a bit of rain on the way otherwise a perfect riding day.

I must say first that Rasmus himself told me to post the video as soon as it was done, without asking permission... and I'm too happy he said that not to take a chance! BIO: Target was a Belgian thrash metal act who released two albums for Mekong Delta mainman Ralph Hubert's Aaarrg label in the late 80s. He also produced their four track demo in 1987. Guitarist Lex Vogelaar later on formed the better known Orphanage. The band was originally formed in April 1986 by guitarist Franky van Aerde and drummer Christ Braems. A few line-up changes followed until Ralph Hubert signed the band in early spring 1987. Lead guitarist soon got married and left the band. In July / August 1987 they recorded their debut album ``Mission Executed`` in the Phoenix Studio in Bochum, West-Germany with a new Dutch guitarist named Lex Vogelaar who had joined the band only a few weeks before recording. In the winter of 1987 / 1988 there were a lot of problems for the band resulting from the change of management. Vocalist Guy lost his interest in making music and Target soon split up after the release of a second album with Steve Gray on vocals.
