Michael Jordan Highlights 1995-96
In his first full season back from his first retirement, Jordan had another amazing year and was awarded the league MVP, Finals MVP, Allstar Game MVP, All-NBA First team, All-Defensive First team, led the league in Scoring, led the bulls to a record 72 wins and won his fourth championship. This video is only a tiny sample of all of the amazing moves, dunks passes and shots he made that season, but they are spectacular to watch. I wish that I could make a full video of his comeback. Michael Jordan - The Greatest There Ever Will Be (HD Upgrade)
An HD version of the first video I ever uploaded on Youtube years ago titled "Michael Jordan - The Greatest There Ever Will Be." I received several requests to put an HD version up since the quality of the original is pretty poor. A couple years back when I uploaded it, it was the best Youtube could do really. Now that YT is capable of HD, it seemed only natural to upgrade. I kept it as close to the original as possible, but since it's been so long there were some clips I couldn't find. Rather than simply omitting them and producing a vid with fewer highlights than the original, I replaced them with new (and in many cases better I think) highlights. This was infrequent, so the video is extremely close to the original. Sorry about the ad that appears below the video. I had no control over that. Apparently Youtube can tell that the song I use (Massive Attack - Angel) is copyrighted by someone else, so it will only allow me to post the vid with an ad underneath. Fortunately Youtube says I don't have to take the video down as long as there is an ad there. I can't change the song, of course, since that would be quite a radical departure from the original, and my intent was to keep it as close to the original as possible. I certainly am not making money off the ad, it was just the only way I could post the vid. Hope you all enjoy it.

@ 34 years old MJ displays the highest form of basketball skills you will ever see. Past his physical prime but at his peak in terms of basketball smarts this is the equilibrium between his athleticism and basketball skills personified. His face up and turn around fade aways were just a thing of beauty, nothing does it better. His stroke was smooth and can stop and shoot in a dime (probably the quickest pull up from 1 to 2 dribbles) it was pure perfection. His advance footwork was just amazing faster than any other players i've seen, he has high and low post game to boot, catch and shoot and he moves without a ball with a purpose no waste of energy. with those air jordan playoffs on his feet... it's amazing to see the master at work.

Michael Jordan Rookie Highlights
One of the posters asked me if I had footage from Jordan's first NBA game. I had this rookie highlights which includes 3-4 possessions of his first NBA game against Washington (the beginning of the video) along with his some other rookie games. I searched youtube to see if it's there but could not see. So I decided to put it up. By the way, if anyone's interested hoops said he has the complete first NBA game and he'd put up in the future. As you'll notice the video quality in this one is not great but you know, it's pretty rare footage recorded from TV networks almost 25 years ago. Also, you'll notice the editing is weird, with some annoying jumps here and there. That was its original condition. I didn't edit it. (actually tried but couldn't because of a format issue). I just trimmed it a little bit so that it fits the youtube limit. Sorry about that. There are also some cool plays from Moses, Clyde, 'Nique and Dr. J etc. =========================

All the points scored in the UNC vs Georgetown NCAA Championship Game by Michael Jordan (16 pts), James Worthy (28 pts), Patrick Ewing (23 pts), and Eric "Sleepy" Floyd (18 pts). All these players would go on to become All-Stars in the NBA. This is the game where Jordan made his game winner with 15 seconds left in the game and UNC taking a 63-62 lead on the shot, which would remain the final score. It was played it the Superdome and also gave Coach Dean Smith his first NCAA Championship. Michael Jordan would later go on to play for the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards in the NBA and was a 14 time All-Star, 3 time All-Star Game MVP, the 1984-85 NBA Rookie of the Year, 1987-88 NBA Defensive Player of the Year, won the MVP trophy 5 times, and the Finals MVP trophy 6 times. James worthy went on to play for the Los Angeles Lakers for his entire NBA career and became a 7 time All-Star and won the 1987-88 Finals MVP trophy. Patrick Ewing got drafted by the New York Knicks and would also play for the Seattle Supersonics and the Orlando Magic in his later years, Ewing was an 11 time NBA All-Star and won the 1985-86 NBA Rookie of the Year award. Eric "Sleepy" Floyd and played with the New Jersey Nets, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, and San Antonio Spurs in the NBA and also was an All-Star in the 1987 NBA All-Star Game. Michael Jordan v Larry Bird 1988
1988 was an incredible year for Michael Jordan. He won his first MVP, Defensive Player of the year, All Star MVP, the Slam Dunk Contest, his second straight scoring title and led the Bulls to 50 wins. But at that time the best team in the East was still Larry Bird's Boston Celtics. The Celtics won this game. Bird had 44 points to Jordan's 39. Jordan got his revenge 3 days later though in a Bulls victory over the Celtics. Jordan had 46 points and the Bulls won 50 games for the first time in a season. I've done something a little different this time. Instead of just showing Jordan's highlights, I've shown Birds as well because this was a classic shoot out. Enjoy
