Sh. Abdullah Al-Juhany leading Taraweeh at Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah on the 27th night of Ramadan 2011/1432, and reciting Surah Al-Mumtahinah. Shaikh Abdullah 'Awwad Fahd Ma'yoof Abdullah Muhammad Kadyuwan Al-Humaimy Adh-Dhabyaani Al-Juhany. He is from Jaheenah. He has three brothers (Adil, Lafee and Muhammad) and two sisters. Shaikh Abdullah is the youngest son. Shaykh Abdullah Al Juhany was born in Madinat ul-Munawwarah in 1396. He is married, has two sons (Muhammad and Abdul Aziz) and two daughters. He memorized the Qur'an at a young age, fulfilling his parents wishes and was given the ability from Allah to teach Qur'an at a Masjid in the Western part of Madinah. He studied in the College of Qur'an Al-Kareem in Islamic University. Shaikh Abudullah graduated from the Islamic University with a degree in Qur'anic Studies and became a TA from the Preparation of Teachers [Teaching School] in Madinah. After that, he went to obtain his Masters in Makkah and he is now a graduate student in Ummul Qurra Univeristy. At the age of 16, he participated in a competition as a Hafidh of Quran and he won first prize. Shaikh Abdulllah did not grow up as an orphan as people say [people claim he is an orphan] His parents are still alive Alhamdulillah and May Allah grant them a long life. [Ameen] Shaikh Abdullah is considered as the only Imam who, by the Grace of Allah, has been an Imam in some of the biggest Masjid's of the Muslim world. Sheikh Abdullah ibn Awwad Al Juhany leading Isha salat in Al Haram al Makki on July 10th 2007. This is his first salat as a permanent Imam. He led taraweeh from 2005. He also led in famous masjids such as Masjid Quba, Masjid Qiblatain and Masjid an Nabawi(al Madina). He is one of my favorite recitors, alhamdulillah. May Allah protect and bless him. Ameen

In the Book of the Friday prayer, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Hurayrah said, "The Prophet used to recite in Fajr on Fridays الم تَنزِيلَ (Alif Lam Mim.
