This video segment is a collection of data taken from one of the earliest comparative psychology research studies focusing on human and chimpanzee infant development. Winthrop and Luella Kellogg began this study in 1931, and it continued for 9 months, demonstrating essentially identical cognitive development between human and chimpanzee during the first two years. Thiswork meets the Fair-use Statute Section 107 of the 1976 Copyright Act: 1. The purpose and character of the use is for nonprofit educational purposes. 2. The nature of the material is factual. 3. The amount and significance of the portion used in relation to the entire work is not significant. 4. The use will have no effect upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work. This segment is currently important for use in my Ph.D. research as well as the high school science classes I teach.

John Stauber, author and adviser to the Food Rights Network, reveals one of the biggest toxic scams in America, sewage sludge being sold as garden "compost" for growing vegetables. What looks like a bag of organic compost is really derived from toxic sewage sludge. No law requires that sewage sludge be labeled, so the sewage industry now "composts" their sludge waste with wood chips, puts it in bags, and disposes of it by duping unsuspecting gardeners into putting it on their gardens. Kellogg Garden Products and the Environmental Media Association are corporate partners. Kellogg contributes its products to EMA, and EMA greenwashes Kellogg's image and its sludge-as-compost scam. She gets up to fix some off-screen guy she apparently had spent the night with upstairs a bowl of corn flakes for breakfast from an open box (with all the top flaps removed), discovers she's out of corn flakes ('Oh, it happened again', she says) and starts to panic!! She mentions Superman, and apparently his day is going kinda slow because he saves the day by bringing Ms. Pitts another box of open, flapless Corn Flakes!! I feel better, because there's no tellin' what that guy upstairs woulda done to her had she not whipped him up a bowl of Corn Flakes...
