Disappointed, angry and frustrated, Kenyans then stated a twitter hashtag #SomeoneTellCNN which trended worldwide. The song is a mixture of diverse musical elements- It brings together sixteen artistes with different musical backgrounds (Benga, hip hop, dancehall, Afro fusion and RNB). The production style used is mainly orchestral, using choirs and strings-to emphasize the emotions and sadness of the famine emergency in Kenya. The drums are a fusion of hip hop beats and African percussions .The Pianos and keyboards bring out the R&B feel while the guitars bring out the traditional afro feel- cutting across all genres to bring out one message....Kenyans for Kenya. The song is designed to speak to Kenyans in one voice, one cry for one cause, regardless of the different demographics. The song begins with an acoustic guitar riff with a spoken intro calling out people to become the heroes of their country, by being part of the Kenyans for Kenya campaign. The intro begins on a laid back soft rock melody to highlight the sadness of the situation of the innocent Kenyan children affected by the famine. The temp picks up to give hope to the children, assuring them that that Kenyans are with them and are currently doing something about the unfortunate situation. It calls out for Kenyans to help, for Gods intervention, others stress on the unbearable suffering the importance of togetherness. The Chorus is a cry from the affected to their fellow Kenyans not to let them die of hunger. ARTISTES -- IN ORDER OF APPEARANCE ON SONG 1. Juliani (intro) 2. Redsan 3. Nameless 4. Wahu 5. Wyre 6. Child Prostitution

September 2009 Kenya's stunning beaches attract thousands of tourists each year but this tropical paradise hides a harrowing secret. Children as young as 6 are having to risk their lives and sell sex in order to survive. As night falls, Mombasas clubs fill up with European male tourists ogling teenage girls. The desperate teenagers wear high heels and pay a bribe to get in. The ultimate hope is Mzungu, a white man who will pay 5 times more for sex, than a Kenyan labourer can earn in a day. Three years ago a study by UNICEF reported that approximately 30% of the population of children aged between 12 and 18 were engaged in some form of sex work. Since this report, political violence and economic crisis has left 10 million Kenyans starving, forcing more youngsters into the sex trade. I started when I was 12. I could go into a nightclub and I could count 10 to 20 girls that were prostitutes, tells 14-year-old prostitute Leyla. I ask God, what I have done wrong? I am still a child and I am doing this. Dr Essam Ahmed works in Mombassas only sexual health clinic and explains there are many loopholes in the judicial system, it's very rare for a perpetrator to be jailed. And although the authorities say they are going to take strict action on those who are taking advantage of young children, the country fears any attack on its reputation could drive innocent tourists away.
