Taken 21/3/2010 at the Pass Holders open day. The official opening of the ride is next week.It is a different sort of coaster, not bad, but not worth the 2 hour wait that people were having to suffer later in the day. The rest of Wild Asia land is ok, they have re-themed the other existing rides that were in Beanoland and had a general re-theme of the shops etc in that area of the park.

Military Vehicles [Turkey]: Otokar Kobra "Cobra" ARV (Türk Kara Kuvvetleri)
Language of Video Presentation: Turkish (Türkçe) The Cobra (Turkish: Kobra) is a wheeled light Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) serving with the Türk Kara Kuvvetleri (TKK), the Turkish army. It is developed by Otokar Otobus Karoseri Sanayi AS; a Turkish bus and military vehicles manufacturer located in Sakarya, Turkey. It uses some components from the American HMMWV and it was first delivered to the Turkish Army in 1997. The vehicle has monocoque steel v-hull that provides protection against small arms fire, artillery shell shrapnel, anti-personnel/tank mines and IEDs. Front wheel arches are designed to be blown away to free blast pockets in the event of an explosion. The vehicle can also be made amphibious. Since the vehicle forms a common platform, it can be adapted for various roles and mission requirements which include: Armoured Personnel Carrier. Anti-Tank Vehicle. Reconnaissance Vehicle. Ground Surveillance Radar Vehicle. Forward Observation Vehicle. Armoured Ambulance. Armoured Command Post. The vehicle can be fitted with a turret which can then be equipped with a variety of armaments: 12.7mm machine gun, 20mm cannon, anti-tank missiles, such as the TOW missile/Spike missile, or surface-to-air missiles.
