James Kalm is tardy, and slips into this opening just moments before it closes. As a confirmed painter, with a predilection towards pigment, your reporter is always pleased to share some of the best examples of this art form that appear in the New York galleries. This exhibition is the first of recent works by Kossoff seen in the city since 2000. Each piece is a testament to long hours and consistent overworking that have gained Kossoff his immense reputation. His subjects in this exhibition are a pathetically braced up cherry tree in his back yard, a local chapel, and a few friends who he's painted over decades.

Free, an English rock band, was formed in London in 1968. Their best known work is certainly for their 1970 signature song "All Right Now". They disbanded in 1973 and lead singer Paul Rodgers went on to become a frontman of the band Bad Company along with Simon Kirke on drums; lead guitarist Paul Kossoff died from a drug-induced heart failure at the age of 25 in 1976, bassist Andy Fraser formed Sharks. "All Right Now" by the early 70's band Free is easily one of the best classic rock tunes ever recorded. With the combination of Paul Rogers on vocals and Paul Kossoff on guitar this song lives on and on. It has what all classic songs must have...an infectious groove and some serious SWAG!! I hope you enjoy this cover of a great guitar jam! ---- DISCLAIMER! ---- Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Joe Bonamassa: jbonamassa.com Site: www.wildwoodguitars.com Welcome, one and all, this day and age's blues guitar-god to the stage--Joe Bonamassa! Join Joe and Wildwood Guitars as he shreds the heck out of the newest artist signature guitar to come out of the Gibson Custom Shop--the Paul Kossoff Signature! Listen as Joe runs us through the features of the guitar--from its unique and historically accurate relic'ing to a personal story that is almost impossible to believe. And we had front-row access for the whole thing... ~ Joe Bonamassa Bio ~ Joe Bonamassa--a child prodigy of the highest order, and yet that was over twenty years ago. Before he could drive Joe had already caught the attention of Blues Rock legend BB King, and had shared the stage with the likes of Buddy Guy, Stephen Stills, and Gregg Allman. Bonamassa later joined various bands, but seemed to outgrow them all having since released ten critically-acclaimed solo albums. The awards racked up continue to pile in a corner, and if names of artists Joe has shared the stage with held physical weight then he would be buried under a mound reaching the heavens.

1972, UK .This quartet sounds uncannily like Free and its English descendant Bad Company. Drummer Simon Kirke was in both bands. Guitarist Paul Kossoff, bassist Tetsu Yamauchi, and keyboardist John "Rabbit" Bundrick were in Free, although the latter two appeared only in the band's ragged, final days.

Free - The Hunter ( Live ) You can hear Paul Kossoff doing some incredible vibrato on this Booker T and the MG's song. I think he is the master in that area, along with the more subtle vibrato of BB King. Anyway i think Paul Kossoff kills it in this song and i think he kills it on a lot of Free songs. Also listen to: "Going Down Slow", "Fire and Water" and the classic "All Right Now!" I made a list of some guitarists wich are absolute heroes to me. Hope you enjoy this 12 guitarists and video's!

There's no words that can't be put to music if you try There's no story that can't be told There's no sin that can't be forgiven in time There's no mountain too high to climb You and me we've been through storm and rain And I know we'll go through it again There's no heart that can't be broken in two There's no one too hard to cry There's no door that can't be opened with the right key There's just you.., you and me You and me we've been through storm and rain And I know we'll go through it again There's no words that can't be spoken if you want You can say just what you feel There's no spell that can't be broken with a will Everyone can feel free Everyone can learn to see There's just you.., and me -------------------- Written by Jim Capaldi Vocals - Jim Capaldi Bass - David Hood Guitar [Lead] - Paul Kossoff Drums - Roger Hawkins Guitar - Jimmy Johnson Piano - Barry Beckett

The band 'Free' play (audio only) possibly my favourite track of theirs: "Woman", from the self-titled second album 'Free'. Incomprehensibly, this song very rarely appears amongst favourites' lists from Free fans, so I thought I should spread the word as to just how good it is. Paul Rodgers is at his edgiest best, and Paul Kossof plays one of my favourite and heaviest guitar solos (by anyone). I compiled the video montage myself utilising footage mostly downloaded from YouTube, occasionally with some of my own added effects and filters. My plan here is to make available a few of my favourite recordings not easily available (or well-known) elsewhere. Please check out my other videos. Comments are always welcomed.

Leon Kossoff consented to a rare television interview with Nicholas Glass and Jon Snow for the UK's Channel 4 News program. This video features Kossoff discussing his newest paintings, describing the body of work he has created in response the Old Master works at the National Gallery, and taking the journalists on a tour of his most beloved paintings in the museum's collection.
