When the family has a chance to move to the United States so that Aiko can teach the children about their American heritage, they pack up and head for Houston, Texas and run a restaurant. This is where the trouble begins. A band of crooked cops store stolen goods in the back room of the restaurant and unknown to the Saitos family, a priceless necklace (the Van Atta necklace), is wanted by a local syndicate. When one of the dirty cops decide to take the necklace for himself, the syndicate goes after the previous owner of the restaurant, then after the Saitos'. When one of the boys is kidnapped by top thug Limehouse, Akira quietly rescues him. However, when Aiko and Tomoya are run down by Limehouse in an effort to get the necklace, Akira has had enough. For years, Akira has kept a dark secret. Akira finally decides to unleash his dark side. [Taglines] The Master Ninja is ...

Sho Kosugi Interview 1985

Sho Kosugi was easily the best known actor/martial artist during the 1980s ninja cinema craze. Kosugi was a proficient martial artist & skilled weapons performer which was highlighted in his several starring roles. The demonstration was videotaped in a VERY dark theater in NYC's Times Square before the premier of "Pray For Death". Perfect for ninjas, not so good for cameras. The interview is in a studio. Kane Kosugi (Long take fight scene)

Kane Kosugi does an awesome long take in the the short film "Timeless" directed by Ryu Seung Wan and stunt coordinated by Jung Doo Hong. Eventhough it isn't truly one long take, in my opinion, this take is way better than Tony Jaa's Tom Yum Goong long take. Download the whole film at: www.motoklassic.com (Sorry no English Subs are available) Background: Kane Kosugi is the son of Sho Kosugi, the legendary 80s Ninja. Born in California, he is half Japanese and half Chinese. He began his training in martial arts at the age of one and a half. Since moving to Japan at the age of 18, he has done numerous movies and TV shows becoming one of the nation's most popular and recognizable talents. He has worked with some of the action movie greats including Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Jean-Claude Van Damme. He has made appearances in US films such as Dead or Alive and Jet Li's War. The rest of his work is listed below. www.imdb.com In my opinion, this fight is by far his best performance.
