Gopaal Krishna is a bollywood movie, starring Sachin and Zarina Wahab. Whenever the mankind suffers and is at the mercy of the tyrant, the Lord takes birth to demolish the forces of the evil. Thus, when the people of Mathura were tyranised and tortured by Kansa who threw his parents in jail and killed seven children of his sister Devaki, the Lord took birth as Krishna in the prison. And before Kansa could destroy his sister's eight child born to kill him, he was taken away to Gokhul where he was brought up as the son of Nand and Yashoda. When Kansa came to know that his enemy was growing up in Gokul, he sent one demon after another to kill him. But instead, Putana, Kaliya and all other demons were destroyed by Krishna. Ultimately kansa sent Akrura to bring Gopal Krishna to Mathura-little knowing that he was inviting his own death! To save his life Kansa used every magic that he knew to entice Krishna. But, alas, all his tricks failed and in the battle of wits as well as guts that ensured between them Kansa, the tyrant met his death at the hands of his nephew Lord Krishna. This is the first time that the legendry colourful story of Lord Krishna from his birth to the destruction of demon Kansa is being presented in Cinemascope an colour in all its splendour set to tuneful music. RRKK starts off in Mumbai with a daylight murder of a brother of Powar, an evil Don, by Arjun who is a good don. An exact description of the character would be like Rajinikanth in Baasha. Shades of that particular character has been spotted in many movies before. Senior artist Arjun is 'Ashok Deva', a Don who does all the good things. (We've seen this for the Nth time) Arjun's wife Gracy Singh (Gauthami) wants Arjun to stop his activities and live in peace with his sisters -- Priya( Priya Anand) and Sirisha. On Gauthami's birthday, in an attempt to kill Arjun, she falls prey to the villain's gun. Remembering his wife's last wish, he leaves the violence.
