"Somewhere over the Pacific Ocean....." That's all I found with this video. If anybody has details about what really happened, I'm sure we'd all be curious to know. Either way, plenty of footage here to entertain then bore you. Oh and thanks to the folks who've been posting this in other forums; hopefully with enough circulation we'll find someone with the (true) inside scoop. UPDATE (6/22/2010) "This is a F-16 from the Fresno ANG, the 144th FW and 194 fighter Sq. How do I know this? I served with this unit for 11 years and the tail is a dead give away. This unit is an air defense unit and this F-16 is doing a ID pass and after contact with the pilots and ID Confirmation he gives a "WAVE" by shaking his wings back and forth. James Berisha and Mike Bach take off in a Learjet 35 This video was taken on March 6th 2009 from San Diego, California, en route to Tucson, Arizona, and then to Calgary, Canada. Flight PKW551. First leg was 45 minutes, and then from Tucson to Calgary was 2hrs 30minutes. Weather was great that day, we had a tail wind, and we were doing about 600 miles per hour airspeed. Our cruising altitude was about 38000ft. An interesting note, that same day it seemed like we had seen three seasons. In San Diego it was like spring, in Tucson it felt like autumn, and in Canada there was still lots of snow and a temp of -15C.

Learjet Debuts Two New Interior Designs Featuring Flexibility and Comfort On October 19th, Bombardier Aerospace announced the debut of two new cabin configurations available on its Learjet 60 XR aircraft. The interior upgrades, the Signature Series Red and the Signature Series Black, were available for viewing at the Orlando Executive Airport throughout the 2009 NBAA Convention. In an effort to bring the large cabin concept to a midsize jet, Learjet developed the interiors with increased functionality and flexible design as priority. Both Signature Series offer a six-passenger configuration with a 15-inch aisle to provide additional space for comfort and maneuverability throughout the cabin. Cabin seats feature removable armrest caps and panels, as well as berthing capabilities. The redesigned cabin will also include a larger galley offering multiple units for increased storage capacity. In addition, the upgraded cabin will debut a previously unavailable entertainment option, swift broadband capability that supports simultaneous WI-FI connectivity for personal electronic devices, laptops, and Satcom cabin phone. Newest Lear On Track For 2013 EIS Production of the new Learjet 85 aircraft has officially begun as the program successfully exited the Aircraft Level Critical Design Review. Development and production teams in Wichita, Kansas; Montréal, Québec; Belfast, Northern Ireland; and Querétaro, Mexico, are actively engaged in the manufacturing validation phase. Ralph Acs, Vice President and General Manager, Learjet, Bombardier Business Aircraft said the airplane is making solid progress. He said the manufacturing sites are ready, production has begun, and they have been successfully building parts and we are ensuring that all quality standards are met for the Learjet 85 aircraft's entry into service in 2013. The Querétaro site is operational with production tooling in place. To date, several test fuselages and key elements of the composite structure have been produced at the facility to validate the manufacturing and assembly processes. In addition, a full-length composite fuselage has been assembled, and production of the first flight test vehicle is underway. The Learjet 85 aircraft program supply base has started the fabrication of parts, and is on track with approximately 40 per cent of dedicated supplier test rigs that are operational, running their respective systems prior to shipment to the final line. Bill Clinton (Rockefeller) & The Mysterious Learjet Crash days before the OKC Bombing
On April 17th, 1995, a Learjet crashed. On board were Generals and Admirals who were getting ready to arrest Bill Clinton for treason. The official list of casualties for that flight included Major General Glen A. Profitt, ll and Clark Fiester, an important defense department official (who also was well-connected to some former signals experts and a leading expert on electronic war fighting and networking). Two pilots were aboard. One enlisted man was said to be included on "space available." There was never any mention of an Admiral or any Naval personnel among those killed in that highly suspicious crash. Two days later the Murrah building in Oklahoma City was bombed and we heard no more about this mysterious plane crash. The treason they were going to arrest Clinton for involved the normalization of relations with Viet Nam. Evidently Commerce Secretary Ron Brown had been paid $700000 to rush through this normalization pact. The only thing that stood in the way was the American POW's that Viet Nam still held. The decision was made by a few covert men to try to rescue some of the POW's before the normalization took place. The story, which has been confirmed by Joe Jordan of the National POW Taskforce and by Sarah McClendon, the senior White House correspondent, is that close to 30 live POW's were brought out of Viet Nam and taken to Leavenworth prison to get them ready to be absorbed back into society. The message from Lear's David Coleal is clear... the internationally manufactured Learjet 85 IS on track. According to Coleal and his staff, "Development of the Bombardier Learjet 85 aircraft continues on schedule for its announced entry into service date of 2013. Progress has been consistent and going as planned. With the joint definition exit phase at hand, we have completed two proof of concept fuselage sections as well as all wind tunnel testing. The systems design, installation and integration are on target, icing tunnel tests have begun, and we have established certification protocols with the FAA." The Learjet 85 offers a high-speed cruise of Mach 0.82 and a transcontinental range of up to 3000 nautical miles. The quoted Long-Range cruise is M 0.78, its balanced field length (at MTOW) is 4800 feet, expected Time to Climb to FL410 (MTOW, SL, ISA) is less than 18 minutes and its maximum cruise altitude is 49000 feet. A truly international undertaking (as so much with Lear is...), Bombardier's Lear 85 program is currently expanding its production site in Querétaro where a new building is under construction, while their Wichita facilities are being enlarged in preparation for the final assembly and delivery of future Learjet 85 aircraft. A lear jet on approach to Chicago Executive Airport (formerly Palwaukee Airport) crashed about 1 pm The crash site was not discovered until about 1:55 pm to 2:00 pm with the help of news helicopters coordinating with the ground rescue crews. Video shows ABC7Chicago Chopper 7HD involved in the search. The Shadow Traffic helicopter (not shown in the video) was also involved in the search. Video also shows recovery operations out of the staging area on River Road.
