'StreetFighter-Legacy' a liveaction short film fan project, based on the popular Capcom gaming franchise: Street Fighter. Officially endorsed by Capcom StreetFighter Legacy has been a labour of love and passion project for its creator, Joey Ansah, who not only conceived and pitched the project, but also co-directed, co-wrote and choreographed it, alongside cameo'ing in the film. Collaborating, creative partner and long time friend Christian Howard was part of the project from day one, co-writing the script and story elements, as well as further down the line, storyboarding the film, being assistant fight choreographer and most importantly playing Ken Masters. Streetlight repped Australian Director Owen Trevor came onboard to co-direct the film. His experience and style carried forward from shooting on 3 series of the acclaimed 'Top Gear' have really been an asset to the project and given it a strong visual flair. Exxon Valdez leaked more than 40 million litres of crude oil into Alaska's pristine waterways nineteen years ago. Today, oil is still polluting the shores and bankrupted fishermen are still waiting for the $5 billion payout granted in 1994. After a series of appeals by the company, $5 billion became $2.5. Now that the case has reached the increasingly pro-business US Supreme Court, fishermen fear they could end up with nothing. While ExxonMobil claims the area has returned to robust health, locals tell of vastly depleted fish stocks, which almost disappeared after the spill. ExxonMobil claims the fish fell victim to a virus, a theory disputed by the fishermen, who are backed by scientific evidence: 'The fish can't disappear like they're telling the public. [Exxon's] explanation just isn't practical,' says an expert. As the legal case drags on, a fifth of the plaintiffs have died and the rest have lost hope. For them, Exxon has already won no matter what. Yet the oil giant keeps repeating that the spill was a tragic accident and that the company has acted responsibly towards the local communities. Legacy :: A Halo 3 Montage - Lots of MLG - RIDICULOUS Editing - A MUST SEE!!! (By Zola)
This is a Halo 3 community montage put together by Zola entitled, "Legacy," and it is one of the best Halo videos I have ever seen. The editing is just incredible, featuring countless original and complex effects that must have taken forever to create. The intro is just beautiful, the syncing is on point, and the transitions are of Maptacular caliber. And what's really great about this video is that it isn't overedited at all. All of the gameplay is shown in its complete glory, and speaking of the gameplay, it is simply sick. Even though I was a tad disappointed with it, one has to factor in the fact that these clips were picked around a year ago. It's mainly MLG with a few social clips here and there and it's full of ridiculous exterminations, snipes, and multikills, some of which are on known names. A couple plays that really stood out to me were the all no scope triple kill Narrows mancannon and a really interesting Rocket kill on The Pit involving a frag grenade. The soundtrack is incredibly diverse and even though the lack of some consistency within the soundtrack did take a bit away from the video for me, it's pretty original overall and its eclectic nature does add a unique feel to the video. And lastly, the video's in high definition so no complaints in this department. Overall, this is one of the greatest Halo videos of all time and I hope you like it. Enjoy!
