Footage filmed on the road to Sirte on Monday allegedly shows rebel fighters capturing two suspected Moammar Gadhafi loyalists, who are travelling towards the checkpoint, before turning their truck around and attempting to flee under heavy fire from the rebels. One appears to be injured and immediately after escaping from the truck falls to the ground. Another alleged loyalist is seen running at the scene, repeatedly shot at by rebel fighters. The country's new authorities claim the ousted leader's been taken in his hometown of Sirte, reportedly overrun by government forces. NATO says it has no immediate plans to end its operations in Libya, despite the rebels now controlling most of the country. The family of Colonel Gaddafi is preparing to sue NATO for the airstrike on his convoy, that led to his violent death at the hands of NTC fighters. Libyan rebels say they're pushing on towards Tripoli and claim they're now around 30 kilometers from the capital. There have also been reports of sporadic violence within Tripoli itself - but many people on the ground there say the situation is much calmer than those reports suggest.
