Tactical Solutions Ruger Mk II .22: "Suppressed Fun" by Nutnfancy
This is a superb modification to a great design, the Ruger Mk II/III .22 pistol. Tactical Solutions makes superb quality aftermarket receiver barrels for both Ruger and Browning .22 pistols. The Ruger receiver barrels are called the "Pac Lite" line. They also make barrels for Ruger 10/22s. Fitting a TS barrel to your Ruger pistol will transform it into a lightweight, superbly accurate, and funner gun. Barrels come in a wide range of colorations but my favorites are OD, Brown, and Matte Grey. For just a cool non-tactical look, Bright Blue is hard to beat. I recommend getting the fluted versions on all their barrels and paying the extra cost for the fitment Picatinny rails to the tops and bottoms for optical/light accessories. The Tactical Innovations suppressor is lightweight and well-made but as of yet I don't know how it stacks up against AAC or Gemtech offerings. But together they form an impressive and lightweight (and silent!) tactical .22 package. AirsoftGI claimed to have test fired the gun before shipping it out. If they did, this defect should have easily been detected and fixed before they boxed they up to send to us. I found similar results to what Ryan found, except I didn't see that the T2i was more saturated than the 5D. Color and saturation are so similar you could easily mix both footage You might be asking, "Dave, why are you comparing the 5D mark II to the 550D when the mark 3 is coming soon? Yes it is true that the 5D in terms of features almost feels historic when compared to it's little cropped frame brothers when it lacks a ton of cool features like focus points faster shutter drive a level built in zoom, tilt out screen. But the reason the 5D is Canon's flag ship product for professionals is because of the full frame.

WARNING ALWAYS DISCONNECT YOUR TURNTABLE FROM THE MAINS WHEN OPENING OR WORKING INSIDE THE TURNTABLE. This is part one in a 2 part video showing you how to calibrate the pitch on a Technics SL MKII. In this video I will show you how to calibrate the pitch 0 position, this should cure problems such as. - two 0 positions on the pitch fader. - Suddenly jolting out of 0 position. - No 0 position at all. Just showing how cool the Roland R8 sequencer is. Many just use it as a straight ahead drum machine, but it's when you start doing realtime pitch/decay/pan/nuance/velocity editing that it becomes cool. Pitching and changing the pan and decay of the individual sounds after they have been recorded. I used this zillions of times with Andrea Parker for her stuff and remixes we did and for my own stuff. I know the guys from Autechre and many other artists used one . Great box. The R8 MKII has more built in sounds and more memory. Worth finding over the MKI version.

Novation ZeRO SL MkII review
I have been playing with the Novation ZeRO SL MkII for awhile and it is a very capable controller. Its rare that a controller allows me to do something new but ZeRO SL has done just this. Thanks to the LCD screen and Automap 3 for the first time I mastered a complete track in the box with my monitor turned off. While admittedly the first time round I wasn't as fast as with a mouse but eliminating the distraction of visual feedback forced me to focus more intensely on the audio at hand. Graham's DIY Jib crane update - the MKII
Increasing the length of the jib to 48 inches needed the jib to be made from more rigid material to prevent sag of the jib on either side of the main pivot point. I wanted to use a thicker wall "U" section alumium profile but could not obtain any from local stockists. I decided to rivet 2mm thich x 20mm wide flat bar to the 1.5mm "U" section to improve the strength. I lightened the jib by substantially cutting out the top web of the profile as this is only used to prevent twist and side to side movement. The head has been modified to mount the camera below the centre of the front bracket to improve stability.
