According to a release put out by relativity media, a deal has been completed and there will be North American distribution for Gerard Butlers "Machine Gun Preacher." Marc Forster directed and produced the biopic of Sam Childers who was a drug-dealing biker. He eventually finds God and becomes an activist on behalf of child soldiers in Sudan. Also according to the press release, the film features an incredible performance from Butler, and has been given a September 23, 2011 release date which is prime awards-season territory.
