Every now and then you have to go outside of your comfort zone to find something new and awesome, and the best example of that at this years E3 was Riot Games League of Legends: Clash of Fates. Its a fast paced, intense, real-time strategy game for the PC, that is the next natural step for fans of Defense of the Ancients. While RTS (and PC for that matter) games generally arent my cup of tea, the TrueGameHeadz crew and I were able to sit down in front of a computer and pick up the basic mechanics of the game in just minutes. We got our asses kicked, but it was pretty much a whole new experience, and it was a lot of fun. After we got some time in on the game, Sir-G got a chance to talk with Riot Games Co-Founder Marc Merrill about what League of Legends is going to have to offer, and what is going to differentiate it from the rest of the PC gaming crowd.

Godzilla and Yellow Gypsy with an instrumental version of the T. Rex hit "Get It On," recorded in 1971, released in '72 on King records, (SKM-1258/9). The band Godzilla joined guitarist Hiroshi Kato to make a mostly instrumental album for King records, Japan. On this track Hiroshi Kato plays guitar, Haruo Chikada keyboards, Jun Kanazawa drums, and Alan Merrill bass guitar and some double tracked chorus vocals. Alan Merrill went on to form the glam rockers Vodka Collins (and later The Arrows), Hiroshi Kato left for England to form the band Stretch, Haruo Chikada joined Yuya Uchida's 1815 Rock N Roll band (and later started Haruophone), and Jun Kanazawa continued on as a popular session drummer. History- Guitarist Hiroshi Kato had just come back to Japan in 1971 from living and playing music professionally in Canada. The short lived trio Godzilla had done a summer residency at the most popular club in Kariuzawa, a resort town in Japan. They had also been touring around the country as a live opening act for the on screen film "Melody Fair," playing to screaming teenybopper fans. Godzilla and Yellow Gypsy teamed up to make two instrumental albums for King records titled "Dai Go-Go Party."
