Marvel Comics: Siege pt.1 - The Cabal Implodes
"Siege" is an American comic book storyline, published by Marvel Comics from January 2010 to May 2010. It deals with the aftermath of the "Dark Reign" company-wide storyline, which led to a shift of power in the Marvel Universe toward Norman Osborn, a former supervillain who, through deception and media manipulation, has become the United States' security czar. The story also depicts the Asgardian trickster deity Loki, manipulating Osborn into leading an all-out assault to overthrow Asgard. The events in "Siege" lead to the subsequent company-wide storyline, "Heroic Age". Norman Osborn calls a meeting of the supervillain Cabal, consisting of Doctor Doom, the Hood, Taskmaster, and the Norse god Loki, to discuss Asgard, the home of the Norse gods, now located floating above Broxton, Oklahoma, and the last holdout in Osborn's consolidation of power. A rift develops between Doom and Osborn, creating mayhem that appears to dissolve the group. Later, under his guise of respectability, Osborn attempts in vain to secure from the President of the United States permission to invade Asgard under the claim it poses a national security threat. On Loki's advice, Osborn engineers a tragedy in which the hapless Norse god Volstagg, manipulated into battling the supervillain team the U-Foes, inadvertently causes an explosion that kills everyone in a crowded Soldier Field football stadium in Chicago, Illinois. This gives Osborn the pretext to lay siege on Asgard with military troops as well <b>...</b>

DC Comics vs. Marvel Comics - When Worlds Collide
Krona, an exiled immortal from the DC Universe who gains the powers of entropy, begins destroying entire universes, obsessed with learning what existed prior to the Big Bang. The Grandmaster, one of the Elders of the Marvel Universe, offers to tell Krona about an entity who has the knowledge he seeks; but only if Krona can beat him in a game. The game involves manipulating the Avengers and the Justice League into trying to obtain twelve items of power (six from each universe - the DC items being the Spear of Destiny; the Book of Eternity; the Orb of Ra; the Psycho Pirate's Medusa Mask; the Bell, Jar and Wheel of the Demons Three; and the Green Lantern Power Battery of Kyle Rayner; and the Marvel items being the Ultimate Nullifier; the Evil Eye of Avalon; the Wand of Watoomb; the Casket of Ancient Winters; the Cosmic Cube; and the Infinity Gems) that have been hidden around across the two universes. The two teams battle until all of the items are gathered, at which point Krona and the Grandmaster betray each other. Krona mortally wounds the Grandmaster and scans the character's mind to learn of cosmic entity Galactus, although the Grandmaster's last act is to trap Krona between the two universes. Krona breaks free and begins to merge the universes, which would result in their destruction and the birth of another universe. This is the complete run of the original cartoon commercial animations used for the GIJoe Marvel comic run. I haven't found these on youtube yet and I have always wanted to give back for all that I have taken. Here it is! Someone else recorded the video so I couldn't do anything there. A few episodes are incomplete but I included what was available. I know many people have been looking for these. It is because of the initial cartoon commercials for the comics which created the demand for the daily series which was good but not as good as it could had been if it was produced along the same principles as these 30 second commercials. I fell in love with GIJoe with the help of these commercials. They were brilliant and still are after 25 years! After waiting 25 years, I wish the new live action movie would live up to the exciting standards set by this groundbreaking series! Instead, the new GIJoe "Rise of Cobra" seems to be rewriting things as they go along. So much for progress. What I have on youtube is what I feel is GIJoe. I hope everyone will agree! YO JOE!!!!
