The video then shifts to the waterfront as I walk along Pier 4 & 5 before visiting the World Trade Center, offering the best view of the city in every direction from the Top of the World Observation Level on the 27th floor. Strange Rumbling Sound - Maryland US
www.starseedsonline.net - Pay attention to the 3:57 - 4:15 mark it seems you can hear it really well at that point. I don't know how well this can be heard but does anybody know what the hell this rumbling sound is??? No it's NOT thunder. It's something else entirely. I heard it this morning in Maryland about 20 minute ago to be exact. beautiful sky, no storm, no rain, no lightning. This rumbling is rhythmic, and louder then all the atmospheric noises and encompasses the entire sky yet it is subtle enough that I saw 3 people walk by and not one noticed. I have though seen videos on YT about people who have recorded it. Yes, I know my balcony is a mess, it was cleaning day lol

Conceived by James Ross Movement Design by Liz Lerman On May 4, 2012, the UMD Symphony Orchestra (UMSO) performed Debussy's "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun" from memory, with movement design by choreographer Liz Lerman. Movement is an inherent element of music-making; yet, its impact goes largely unexplored in the orchestral setting. UMSO's performance of "Prelude to the Afternoon of the Faun" explores the connection between movement and music, specifically, how that connection facilitates communication and a colorful, nuanced performance. The choreography in this performance reflects the moods and imagery associated with Debussy's work: the sensory experiences of a faun as he awakens from an afternoon nap. Richard Norris of Hillsville, Virginia, was shot in the face in 1997 and lost his nose, lips and most movement in his mouth. Since then, he has had multiple life-saving and reconstructive surgeries but none could repair him to the extent where he felt he could return to society. He wore a prosthetic nose and a mask even when entering hospital for the transplant. But last week, during a 36-hour operation, University of Maryland doctors gave him a new face from an anonymous donor whose organs saved five other patients' lives on the same day. Six days after the surgery, he could already move his tongue and open and close his eyes and was recovering much faster than doctors expected. "He's actually looking in the mirror shaving and brushing his teeth, which we never even expected," said Dr. Eduardo Rodriguez, associate professor of surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and head of the transplant team, who spoke at a press conference. Captivated with the idea of bringing Moroccan flair to Easton, Westbrook rallied the creative staff at the Academy Art Museum to produce a two-day fundraiser for the academy that came to be called "Paint the Town Moroccan!" "Welcome to a historic event for our small, but mighty town of Easton," Westbrook told a crowd gathered on Harrison Street Saturday afternoon to welcome the former US Ambassador of Moroccan Ed Gabriel and Moroccan Ambassador Rachad Bouhlal. The weekend began Friday evening with a free lecture by former Ambassador Gabriel, who was instrumental in helping the group bring members of the Moroccan-American community of Washington, DC, and the Moroccan ambassador to town. On Saturday afternoon, Harrison Street became the scene of a "Marrakesh Souk" or Moroccan Market, with tents full of vendors selling colorful Moroccan dresses, sparkling ornate silver and piles of vivid, handmade wool rugs. Part of their success stems from their off-season strength & conditioning program, where players not only become stronger and more powerful... but get mentally tougher and learn how to compete. Their strength coach, Paul Ricci, does an excellent job. As you will see in this video, the foundation the players built in the off-season translated directly to their play on the court. Two of the players in the video are Montrose alumni Adrian Bowie and 2010 ACC Player of the Year Greivis Vasquez. Greivis is far from being the strongest player on the court, but his mental toughness and competitive fire is unmatched! A special thanks to Coach Ricci for sharing this video.

January 12, 1984 This was a vintage N. Carolina - Maryland matchup featuring players like Jordan, Len Bias, Sam Perkins, Kenny Smith, Brad Daugherty and more. Bias had a great first half scoring 16 points. Finished with 24pts and 4rbs. (24pts was his career-high at that time). Perkins was with 26/12. Jordan scored 21 and he was a monster on the boards with 12 rbds (7 off). He also had 2 blocks and at least 4 steals that I put in the video but could be even more. He came up with all the big points, rebounds and the steal at the end of the game. And of course, he has his famous dunk at the buzzer.
