Bullfight Goes Terribly Wrong For Matador As He Gets Gored Through His Throat In Front Of Horrified Crowd (Video) Matador Julio Aparicio Gored Through Chin During Madrid Bullfight A matador cheated death by millimetres when the beast he was tormenting rammed its horn straight through his chin and out through his mouth. It only took a split second for Julio Aparicio to became the bull's bloody victim at a Madrid bullring. The animal had already been pierced with several banderillas and was close to being killed when he seized his chance of revenge. Aparicio stumbled and the angry beast charged at him, prompting the crowd at the Las Ventas bullring to gasp in horror - expecting the bull to rip off the fighter's jaw or even his head. Remarkably, the beast stepped back and his horn slipped out of the matador's face as swiftly as it had entered. Aparicio fell to the ground in shock, with blood pouring from his gaping wound. Ringside medics rushed him to hospital where leading surgeon Dr Maximo Garcia Pedros performed two operations which saved his life. The bull was not so fortunate - he was quickly dispatched by fellow matadors. And, in despite the moment of madness they had witnessed, the stunned crowd settled down to watch two more bullfights as part of the city's San Isidro festival

Filmed at Blake Hall Gardens in Essex is this AEC Matador. During World War II AEC built around 9000 Matador artillery tractors. Post war the Matador was found in civilian use as a recovery truck, a showmans vehicle, and general contractor use. It is still popular for forestry work because of its good offroad performance.

Introducing The LA Matadors - Why I Fight
LA has a new sports team. The Journey Begins November 28th. The LA Matadors are led by two-time Olympian, 2007 World Champion, and one of the most celebrated Amateur boxers in history, Rau'Shee Warren. The coaches are veterans Manny Robles, Robert Luna, and 2000 Olympian Jose Navarro. Their home debut will be November 28, 2010 in a star studded event at the Nokia Theatre in the new LA Live complex in downtown Los Angeles. In addition to Warren, a very talented group of boxers has been assembled and includes several local products such as Javier Torres, the hard hitting heavyweight from Pico Rivera and 2009 National Golden Gloves Silver Medalist, and Long Beach native and 2009 National Golden Gloves Champion Dorian Anthony. The team trains in Carson, CA. It's LA vs The World...in the new World Series of Boxing (worldseriesboxing.com). One World. One League. One Champion.
