MICHIEL BORSTLAP Solo 2010 Michiel Borstlap is een van de meest complete pianisten in de Jazz en met wereldwijde naam en faam. Dit seizoen eindelijk weer eens SOLO in het theater te bewonderen. De werken ten gehore gebracht in SOLO 2010 vormen een aangename mix van jazz en klassiek. Over zijn voorstelling zegt Michiel, "Ik probeer met finesse piano te spelen, wat niet neerkomt op het enkel spelen van noten. Laat de vingers het werk doen, niet het lichaam. Laat de vingers spelen, wat je hart ingeeft". Michiel is inmiddels Neerlands meest vooraanstaande jazzpianist met wereldwijde bekendheid en aanzien. Hij studeerde cum laude af aan het Hilversums Conservatorium. 1992 was het jaar waarin hij onderscheiden werd met de Prize for Best Soloist at Europe Jazz Contest. In 1996 nam hij de Thelonious Monk/BMI Composers Award in ontvangst dat op CNN te zien was. In 2008 won hij het Gouden Kalf voor zijn partituur in de Nederlandse film Tiramisu. Eind 2009 werd zijn album Monk nog bekroond met een Edison. Daarnaast werkt hij veelvuldig samen met sterren als Trijntje Oosterhuis en Edsilia Rombley maar ook met buitenlandse beroemdheden als Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Gino Vannelli, Pat Metheny, Jimmy Haslip, Les Paul en George Duke.

A compact disc of the Deus Ex soundtrack was only included in the "Game of the Year" edition and is not available for separate purchase, but all tracks are readily available on the internet. Originally only thirty tracks were included with the re-release, with tracks thirty-one through forty-one considered as extras. During play, the music will change to a different iteration of the current song based on the player's actions.
