Lightning brought this game to an end late in the third quarter, which was probably just as well for the Broncos as Michigan was starting to pull away. Michigan spotted Western a touchdown but outscored them 34-3 the rest of the way. Brandon Herron had a 94-yard interception return for a touchdown (longest in school history) and a 28-yard fumble return for a touchdown, the first time a Michigan player has ever returned two turnovers for touchdowns in the same game. Fitzgerald Toussaint ran for 80 yards and two touchdowns (2, 1) and Michael Shaw added 54 yards and a touchdown (44). Jordan Kovacs helped pace the defense with two sacks and a forced fumble.

The 132nd team of University of Michigan football celebrated their 2011 banquet with a sold out venue at Laurel Manor in Livonia. The Senior class was celebrated as they gave speeches and received their class rings and awards.

Michigan Wolverines Spring Game, April 14, 2012. These are some highlights from the Spring Game today. I edited in a way that I could fit in almost every single play from the 1's & 2's on Offense and Defense. I'll tell you, though, Hoke & Co. do not like to give anything away. In all the years of going to the Spring Game and now watching it on BTN. It was boring as hell. Some players looked good and others need more work. Denard only played one series. Fitz looked good, IMO. I don't know if it's because they were playing vanilla today, but the WRs need some work. But, then again, Hoke wasn't giving anything away in todays game.
