THIS VIDEO IS NO LONGER RELEVANT, NOTCH CHANGED (FUCKED UP) THE CIRCUITRY SYSTEM! This is a video showing the basics of circuitry and how you can create a nice early warning and defence system for your house in about 3 minutes. The general idea behind the doorbell is having one basic input and at the end having a NOT gate which outputs the poosite of the input. You need to have a NOT output because otherwise the LED just displays ON all the time... idk why. The second one uses the same basic system but instead the input is always ON until the wire is tripped. Tripping the wire causes the input to read OFF at the end. This means the NOT gate at the end of the wire outputs ON (the inverse of the input, the light goes on) and the door closes (OFF = close door). The defence system works better with iron doors as they have to be opened using circuitry. With some minor modifications it is an applicable system to use for defence. In Episode 19 of Docm77´s Minecraft World Tour, we are finally able to see the finished EATS road in action. Before we closely inspect this "Masterpiece" of Minecraft mobility, the new storrage and work area is displayed. one of the newly made additions to the EATS line, is "The Pit". After a pretty high boat jump, this contraption is needed to guide the boats back on track. Also, I implemented a neat way to easily exit and board the boats using a minecart. I'm slowly but surely build my castle around this massive rock I found in the middle of this field. It's a nice place with a fair amount of iron and coal deep down. Plus the top of the rock has 2 waterfalls which I will later channel to the outer wall of the castle to help fill the moat. I'm also tempted to get some lava going as well... channel that and make some obsidan rock.... or maybe a lava moat. We'll see, I still have a ton of work to do.
